Game Ball of the Week

KANSAS CITY MO - NOVEMBER 21: Quarterback Derek Anderson #3 of the Arizona Cardinals sits on the field after failing to make a first down during the game against the Kansas City Chiefs on November 21 2010 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City Missouri. (Photo by Jamie Squire/Getty Images)

Although the Arizona Cardinals managed to lose their fifth consecutive game, one person toughed it out and showed their willingness to push on -- you, the fan.

Yes that's correct, for watching your favorite team lose another game in worse fashion then the other four losses, you get the game ball of the week. It takes a lot of strength to bare through the poor play of the Cardinals this season. After reaching their seventh loss of the season, it's clear that the 2010 is a rebuilding year.

I know some of you are clinging to a miracle comeback, but this team has done nothing to spark hope for the remainder of the season. So take this game ball. Nurture it, love it, and appreciate it. Maybe by the time this post is up in two weeks, a Cardinal will have deserved it.

I'll keep watching even if they lose the rest of their games.

I hope the rest of the fans keep the sellout streak going. We all know how many fair weather fans there are in AZ.

I bet some of them will jump to the Coyotes now that they have won 7 in a row.

Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan [I have always lived in Arizona, dad is from Chicago].

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team(s), throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.

me too Joe

I had to go to work Sunday at the beginning of the 4th Q. I recorded it and being a fan I still had to see how they would lose the game even if KC was controlling the game b4 I left. I thought about turning it off and calling it a day but I tortured myself anyway.

yeah I think it is Max Hall and John Skelton time. DA has actually improved but it is pretty obvious he is not going to be the starter next year so…bring on the rooks.

SKELTON !?!

Where is our boy Jonny Skelton at? .. Lol might as well give him a shot right? cause anderson and max hall eat wieners for breakfast on every game day.

But seriously… why dont we give him a shot?

Because they already know he's less capable than the other two at this time.

Skelton was a project from the beginning. Everyone else sucking doesn’t change that.
