First and foremost, there isn't much that can be said about this game that the boxscore won't reveal in about 20 seconds. This was about as thorough a beating as I've seen in a while, especially from two teams who entered the game with identical records. The Cardinals were outplayed, out classed, out hustled, out coached and several other cliches that I'm too tired to throw down right now. If I were a betting man I'd even say this team threw in the towel and assumed the fetal position long before the final whistle. Basically I don't think this team showed up to play and I don't think they even half-assed it very long. With all that being said, here's some random scatter-shooting from tonight's observations:
Ok so I just realized I haven't written much of anything actually concerning tonight's game but what's there to say, we got slaughtered. Basically wrapping all this up with it's time to cut bait with anyone and everyone who can't help this team in the future. This season is dead and gone and it's time to play for the future. That means playing rookies at QB, Dan Williams, Daryl Washington and every other youngster who is being held back by an aging veteran who is playing marginally better. It pains me to throw in the towel but the time has come.
