After Skelton's game winning drive stirred things up with everyones thoughts on our QB situation Here are some things to think about:
The good:
-Hits receivers in stride and on target most of the time.
-Avoids pass rushers in the pocket and goes with the flow.
-Has a cannon and a nice release.
-Has most of the physical tools to be good.
-Put together a drive when it mattered the most.
-Poise in the pocket.
(comment if you'd like me to add anything else)
The Bad:
-Converting 3rd downs / 3 and outs. (not always his fault)
-When he does break away from the pass rush and he has time, he rushes things.
-45 Comp %
-Fitz doesn't get the ball consistently
-Takes too long to make a decision.
-Doesnt put pts on the bored. (Our D has as many TDS as our O) - soo sad.
-Forces the ball sometimes
-Just seems like something is missing but i cant put my finger on it.

Something else to think about - (Dont get me wrong i think Skelton could be a pretty damn good QB, but not for a few years.)
Matt Moore: 6'3 205 Carolina Panthers QB
Started in Week 13 for the Panthers
They ended up going 4-1
Beating: TB, MIN, NYG, NO ------ Lost: NE
79 of 126
62 .4 Comp %
102.86 Passer RTG
8 TDs 1 INT
The kid looked good, and looked like he could have a future in the league. Then look at his stats this year... (D.A. Jr.).
No team had any film, statistics, or tendencies on him. I think once people watch film on this kid (Skelton) they are going to be able to read him like a book. (Thats why there is a "Sophomore Slump").
I hope Skelton pans out. But i dont know if he actually will.
