Absolut-ly Skelton Time
Well well well, ROTB unfortunately our season is lost, but at least we got see our future at Qb, huh? Now I have been huge on Skelton since we picked him up, but tell me he didnt look awfully poised for coming into a situation behind and with a defense pinning it's ears back and blitzing everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink. let alone on his very first action in his NFL career. For someone who was supposedly slow to learn his reads he sure did make a decent decision (albeit an intentional grounding), but does anyone here think that if Fitz ran a Go route on that double move that would have been 6? Enough about Skelton now for the sh!tlist.
I keep hearing about Russ Grimm coaching the Panthers next year, and let me tell you Carolina fans he is all hype in the coaching arena. I think that saying about great NFL players never cutting it as coaches rings as true for Russ Grimm as it is with Mike Singletary. Our offensive line just plain stinks, there is no sugar coating it. In fact the only bright spot of this season has been Jeremy Bridges, it's time to scoot Brown to the inside and find another Clady, Oher, Thomas for the left side, and if Brown doesnt cut it inside it's time to start shoving these turnstiles out the door. It's been 3 years, and I'm not expecting the Hogs 2.0 just a line that can offer some type of protection.
That's all I've got. Here's to hoping 2010 was just an audition for who stays and goes for 2011

I wasn't a huge supporter of John Skelton starting
But after seeing him play, and seeing our other two QB’s play, I’m all for it.
He hit back-to-back 19 yard throws to Steve Breaston and Larry Fitzgerald, and made a minor rookie error throw to Fitz that would’ve resulted in a TD. He’s honestly the best option we have right now. So start him and see where he’ll fit in next season. I think he can jump start the Offense.
As for Russ Grimm, I kept reading about how he was one of Coach Whiz’s greatest decisions, but the O-line is terrible. I don’t know if it’s Russ Grimm, the player’s, or both’s fault, but something needs to change.
He was never as bad as Anderson for one...

DA's going to be tested for a concussion
If he’s out, we’ll be left with John Skelton. We better start looking for two more QB’s.
Is that suppose to be bad?
Because I feel excited.

The Cardinals are 3-9 after this loss
What is there to lose now? I’d like to see what he can do next week.’

I'm all for Skelton
We’ve got nothing but crappy teams left this year, we’ve run the ball well the last couple weeks, and we’re playing for the first overall pick. No pressure, right?
Let's see what Skelton can do.
I don’t want to see Hall on the field again. Anderson is never going to get us anywhere. At this point in the season there is really no reason not to look at Skelton. I’d like to see him start the next four games. I’m not ready to get on the Skelton bandwagon until I’ve seen him produce. I don’t see any valid arguement for not giving him his shot now.
+1 basically
Why the hell not. At least we can figure out if we have to replace 2 quarterbacks next year or 3.

Me too. I forgot who wrote it but they said when the D saw Max Hall it was like Sharks smelling chum.

Poor kid
Is he worthy of a practice squad addition if he doesn’t survive the cut (which he probably won’t)?

Perhaps

They don't usually put QBs on the practice squad.
Maybe in time he could develop. It wouldn’t bother me if they put him there. I don’t want him eating up space on the 53 man roster though.
XTRA's Mike Jurecki
Tweeted that if DA is injured, the Cardinals will sign Richard Bartel. They’ve already tried him out the last couple of weeks.
Start John Skelton, start the rookies, throw in trick plays just for the heck of it, and finish the season strong. Then, in the Off-season, draft Lucker, and depending on how good John Skelton did in the last few games of the season, go on from there.
Oh, and maybe we could give Richard Bartel a little playing time, just to see if he’ll turn into a Tom Brady or something. In this crazy season, you never know what’ll happen.
I thought he was a kicker...

Might as well...
Couldn;t do worse than Anderson and Skelton would benefit from the experience. Might as well go for it.

One thing I noticed
Was the line play from the change of DA to Hall. Obviously we saw the total harassment of Hall, but how did we go from playing pretty (against a team 6th in sacks) to horrible? The first thing I think of is Max not calling the appropriate line audible to compensate for the overload rush.
The guy looks like a deer in the headlights when the rush comes.
Besides the poor play of DA I thought our team looked pretty solid yesterday. Our line got a good push most of the game and our protection was solid. If DA could of hit the broadside of a barn yesterday we could of had a very good game against the Rams. Than again, you might be able to apply that to the season.
Skelton looked good today....let's see what he has!
Definately better than anything else we’ve seen this year.
Stats would’ve been better had he received better help from his receivers. Fitz, Doucet, Breaston, and Wright all had at least one dropped pass…..
