Miami RB coach to Arizona Cardinals
Miami running backs coach Tommie Robinson has taken the same job with the Arizona Cardinals, according to the Cardinals' Web site.
Staff changes are common after signing day, but coach Randy Shannon gave his assistants the rest of the week off, so nobody was available to comment on this one. Unlike former Miami recruiting coordinator and defensive line coach Clint Hurtt, Robinson would be leaving for a better opportunity at the next level. Hurtt, a former Miami player, left his alma mater for Louisville. Shannon already replaced Hurtt with Rick Petri -- a good hire. But now he has to make another one.
I wonder if he will make a difference but maybe we will see more of an actual running game from the Cardinals next season.

good hire
this is a great hire, both for help with draft work and for our running game…
Just wait and see
All this buzz about Leinart next year, and Rolle will become the Ronnie Brown of the Cardinals xD

Maybe that's the bait to keep him a Cardinal.
It’s not like gadget plays are something Whis abhors. Getting him more involved in the offense could sway him into staying without quite as much money on the table. It’s a page right out of Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People.
Not a fan
of the wildcat. It’s a good ittle gadget play and, if used sparingly, can provide a few much needed first downs. However, gadget teams don’t win championships and wildcat teams in the NFL don’t win championships. I don’t want Rolle’s practice time as a free safety to be split between training defensively and running the wildcat. I’d rather see him shore up his defense and become a perennial pro-bowler because of his flawless defensive play.
