Boldin?
Ok so superbowl is over? Draft is coming up! What are the current rumors out there for our boy Q? I'm sure we will trade him with the onset of his hibrid successor Ducet! Raven's look to be the most needy but Bengals could put a pitch in also....Lions, Brown, Chiefs, Raiders all have the needs and the pick to give. I think Denver could be the biggest pushers though if they lose you know who? thoughts?

Only rumors I know of are to the
Dolphins or Ravens
What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.
Revenge of the Birds
All three Fl teams need WRs.
Life's too short. Be a fan. Orlando Magic, Arizona Cardinals,Tampa Bay Rays and of course "the U"! What a winning combo.

The interesting trade idea i heard from someone was trading Boldin and a 3rd round pick for Miami’s 1st round pick and then drafting McClain.
i like that idea then we
Could trade our 1st pick for another 2nd and possible 3rd or 4th or even for a pick next year

why?
We have enough pressing needs to NOT do this. They would keep their 1st round pick. Maybe you meant trade our first round pick and Boldin to Miami for Miamis 1st round pick and a 3rd or 4th. I would be on board with that if it were a 3rd, not sure for a 4th.
Never do card tricks for the group you play poker with.
If we could get miami 1st for boldin and a 3rd we could have 2 first round picks. In return we could trade out of the first round with our original pick to get maybe a third and possibly a future 1st or just use the second 1st round pick at an LT

we arent going to be able to get a 1st round for Boldin,
if we did though I would gladly wet my pants in public.

I know that Boldin was a big bears fan when he was a kid from an interview he did around Christmas time.
If they didn’t burn all of their draft picks on Cutler and Adams [RIP], they would probably go for Boldin although they do have some decent receivers now.
Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan.
I can't stand band-wagoner fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad.
I posted on Mocking The Draft
Over their I asked what they all thought Boldin’s worth to another team was. Everyone should go check it out. It got a lot of feed back as well as some very good scenarios.

the general concensus is
A 3rd round and possibly a 5th I would prefer a 2nd and a future pick but at this point I would take it

someone on there mentioned a trade with the Cowgirls
not a bad idea if they cut Roy Williams. I dont like the idea of him going to a NFC team with a good chance of going to the SB next year but if the offer is there then do it, we all know Jones loves WR’s and all they have is Miles Austin who has yet to prove consistency.

Dallas wouldn't be bad.
Especially because they won’t be going to a Super Bowl next season. The Super Bowl is in Dallas next season right? I don’t think the hometown team of where the Super Bowl is played that year has ever made it into that game.
they have but its only happened a couple times. Dallas is going to be very good next year I think

No team
has ever played a Super Bowl in their home stadium. it came up a couple of years ago when the SB was at UoP, and the Cardinals had a chance at the playoffs before a late loss or two.
We all bleed Cardinal Red, but most of us don't recognize it!
I think the 49ers
played on in CA at some point, but not in their own stadium.

You are correct
No team. The odds are just too great.

Thank you

Is Boldin worth more in a sign and then trade deal?
What does Boldin really want? While it depends how you look at it, his last contract was a 4 year extensions that resulted in $22.67M of new money. He has a $3M base salary for 2010, the only money remaining on the old contract. So would he extend for $6.7M a year? Say a 3 year extension for $20M of new money with a significant portion as signing bonus in 2010?
And if so, what could the cards then trade him for, cause although I love the guy, Cards need to trade at least one receiver?
This deal may not be feasible, but in an uncapped year, who knows what kind of creative contracts and deals will get done. I think the FO’s that make the right moves this year and look for ways to take advantage of an uncapped year could set their teams up well for many years to come or doom them to oblivion.

Whiz likes
lowere draft picks anyways…its the Steeler way…I’d think a 3rd, 4th, and 5th might be tempting for him. He always is drumming up these great small school studs.
Boldin
You know, I think some team no one is guessing will snag Q. Q is a seriously good player, arguably Top 10 WR in the NFL. I like Early, but to just say he’s going to replace Q is ridiculous. But, we are not going to be the prolific passing team we used to be anyway without Kurt and HOPEFULLY focusing more on the running game. Back to Q being a great player, I think there will be a lot more interest in him than the talking heads expects, and in the end a surprise team might snag him, and knowing the way things seem to often work out in sports, it could be in our division. Anyway, I don’t think it’s very predictable at this point. I do think it is still possible he will stay.
