Rolando McClain
When you look at the majority of the mock drafts, Alabama ILB Rolando McClain is slated to be picked long before the Cardinals choose at #26. However, while it was apparently widely-known amongst the front offices in the NFL, it is just now being reported that he has suffered from Crohn's Disease since he was in the ninth grade. If this is a condition you've never heard about, it's a chronic inflammation of the lower intestine that typically requires daily medication. Jacksonville Jaguar QB David Garrard suffers from the same condition. If McClain slips in the draft because of it, would you see this as a steal or would you be more inclined to avoid him as well?

im fine with it
What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.

Good job fellas
Having been diagnosed with Crohn’s 7 years ago, shitting my pants has never been a concern.
If he reacts well to the medicines he’s on, it might not be a big deal. In my experience, current treatments aren’t effective long-term. And if he was suffering from symptoms at the combine, that means it’s not under control. Hopefully when he gets drafted in the first round, he’ll spend some of his money on some new doctors or he’ll be looking at serious surgery sooner or later.
Though it’s different for everybody, Garrard is a good example. With proper care one can still be successful.
I didnt realize that is a possible side effect, I just thought the pants thing was out of excitement. My apologies.
Never do card tricks for the group you play poker with.
Glad we cleared that up

okay anyway mcclain is awesome and if he slips to 26 pounce on him az!
just thought i’d try and get things back on topic.
oh and it’s no problem now nor was it then :)
He's not slipping in the draft.
He’s had it since high school, and hasn’t missed a game since due to the disease. He’s not slipping, don’t even kid yourself.
