The Cardinals have re-signed offensive lineman Jeremy Bridges to a three year contract.

In four starts last season Bridges allowed 2 sacks but performed admirably in the loss of starter Mike Gandy.

We need to re-sign Rackers. I’m surprised we haven’t heard anything about it. Perhaps they told him they’ll get around to him once they deal with everything else.

I was wondering what your guys's thoughts were on Carlos Dunlap (DE, Florida). Would he be someone you could see taking in the first?

id give you Witherspoon but I think he goes to the Eagles.

I couldn’t, because we’re set at starting DE (Darnell Dockett and Calais Campbell) and there are a lot of questions about Dunlap being worth a first-round pick.

Weatherspoon, however, would project very well for us. See if you can’t slide him down a few selections. Where do you have Brandon Graham going?

I agree that our depth at DE is respectable, the only reason I didn’t mention it is because if a first-round pick were to be used it would generally be expected that we’d want that selection to start sooner than later, and I can’t see anybody starting ahead of 9-0 or Calais for say, another five years (or a decade, if they resign down the road).

Glad to see...

we signed Bridges…and kind of shocked that we signed Hadnot. We should be pretty set on O-Line now. I don’t really want to see Bridges back at Left Tackle, though. Regardless, he’s got some talent but really needs to step up and improve during the off season.
