Andra Davis?
The Broncos recently release Andra Davis. He isn't a huge play maker as suggested by ESPN's analysis of him, but he is a solid player who is consistent and operates well with play makers around him. Sure he won't be as good as Dansby but he is one of the better run stopping ILB's in the league.
In 16 games last year he started 13 and had 90 solo tackles (113 total), 3.5 sacks, 3 passes defended, but no forced fumbles. He is 31, so he is aging but he does have 9 years of experience and would be a good stop gap in case we can't work things out with Foote.
He is a strong side ILB so I think he is a guy we should definitely look into.

Wouldn't mind the Cardinals checking him out if they can't get a deal worked out with Foote first.
What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.

It's always good to have options.
Read some quotes of the Broncos GM recently in regard to the team starting players last year that were good, but not starting caliber, which lends credence to your analysis. Whomever they replace Dansby with, they still need to pick an ILB early in the draft.
There's the catch
is that if he’s a strong-side ILB, we’re set there with Hayes. Foote is a better fit as he plays the weakside. The visit from Paris Lenon makes me wonder how negotiations are going with Foote.
I don't think it's a big deal. Even if Foote is signed the Cardinals are still thin on the inside
Who is there for depth? Highsmith? Monty Beisel may not even come back next season. Lenon would be pure depth and ST.

I guess we'll find out after today. He played a rather reserved role for the Rams last season.

He's a solid first n second down guy!
I watched a few of his games last season and he’s a pretty decent run stuffer. But, he really can’t cover anyone and struggles dropping back into coverage. But if you’re looking for a guy to play first and second down he can be a decent stop gap guy for a year until someone develops.
