GM Rod Graves stated that the team is currently in contract discussions with free agent kicker Neil Rackers.
Rackers is clearly the top free agent kicker on the market right now and resigning him is pivotal to the Cardinals special teams unit. Although he's struggled in clutch situations, it's the intangibles that make up for it. Rackers was 16/17 on field goal attempts last season. The 94.1% completion was his best since 2005.

I hope they get him signed
Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan.
I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad.
About time.
We’ve lost enough people this off season. He may not be Mr Clutch but he sure can boot it. You kick off a hell of a lot more often than you need to make game deciding field goals.
+1 True, I'm just being a negative nancy, I was at the Bears game in '06... Still gives me nightmares...

That game fell on my birthday
What a horrible birthday present
What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.

yeah hope we get him good kicker!
WoW, i was so mad when he missed that 20 yard field goal against the packers in the playoffs. Could have sworn we was going to lose.
I could've sworn he was going to miss it.
I knew it the whole time and sure enough, he did.
