Potential Draft Pick?

According to NFL.com, Northwestern QB Mike Kafka had a "sensational" throwing session at their pro day, only missing one throw the entire workout. Far more interesting than that, for those of us here at ROTB, was the mention that amongst the personnel on-hand for the workout was Arizona Cardinal QB coach Chris Miller.

Could this be some early insight as to who might be our 3rd-string QB for 2010, or do most of you see us going a different direction?

Would make some sense.

Given Anderson and Leinart’s presence on the team, and all of the other holes we have, we likely won’t be taking a quarterback in the first half of the draft. Would make sense to pick him up later on.

This guy sure can put the ball on the spot.

Plays with poise. Not afraid to take off and run. Funny watching a QB that big throwing double spin moves. The little bits of interview I watched impressed as well. I won’t be disappointed if he’s drafted. He apparently did really well at the combine too. It would be great to see another late round / small school gem come out of the draft again.

I saw Kafka a few times

I’d be happy if he was picked up in the draft.

Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan.

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad.

Nice Pick

I like everything I’ve heard about this guy. Size is good, excellant accuracy, smart. Would be a very nice pickup for us.
