Live Draft on Mocking The Draft results for the 1st 4 rounds
Live 7 round draft 4 rounds done results are in
So the thing is i am the Cardnials Rep for the Mocking The Draft live 7 rnd mock draft. It has been very intersting so far and some of my picks were made before the Porter singing so there will be people that disagree but at the time made a lot of sence to me. I would like every one to be very honost with their opinions of my choices and picks and trades that i made. so here they are.
In the first round i made a very bold move and made a trade for more picks in the later rounds because at 26 there was not as many options as i was hoping for so i traded the 26th pick in the first round to the Oakland Raiders for their 39th pick in the second round and their 103rd pick in the 4th round which gave us 2 second round picks 2 third round picks and 2 fourth round picks. and before i get into them i would like to explain the 2 thoughts.
1. The choices i were looking for in the first round that fit my BPA and Need came off the board earlier than i exspected so as looked over my BPA4ND ( Best Player Available for Need) list i realized that the players would be in my opinion could be got early in the second round at a cheaper price
2. With such a deep draft for the postions i felt were week on our team. (ILB OLB CB) That Being said there wa great value in the later rounds
With out further adue with the cardinals draft
ROUND 2
1.(39th pick via Raiders draft pick trade) Navarrow Bomen OLB Penn State
2.(59th pick) Eric Norwood OLB South Carolina
ROUND 3
3.(88th pick via Boldin Trade) Sean Lee ILB Penn State
4.(89th pick) Ciron Black T LSU
ROUND 4
5.(103rd pick via Raiders draft pick trade) Dominique Franks CB Oklahoma
6.(120th pick) Tony Pike QB Cincinnati
So thats it s far the last 3 rounds they will happen in a week or so.
Tell me what you think i know it really doesnt make sence because of the Porter signing but the 1st 2 rounds happend 3 weeks ago.

Trading back 13 spots to gain another 4th round pick I like.
To me taking 3 linebackers with the first 3 picks is a bit of overkill even without taking the Porter signing into consideration.
NTs Terrence Cody and Cam Thomas were both available at 39. I probably would have taken one of them, then gone for a LB. Can’t fault you for going OLB first, considering the timing. I consider NT another position of need.
CB & QB in the 4th I also like. Wouldn’t mind the CB coming a round earlier.
6th and 7th rounds will probably be the trickiest to predict. Could use another return man with Breaston becoming the #2 WR.
+1
It’s a pretty good mock, all in all. I don’t know that I could see us picking Bowman that high, but the thought of Lee in round 3, possible. Agree with hadrarius that if Cody is around at #39 that he’s the pick there. Honestly, I’m thinking if we stay at #26 and he’s around that he’s probably the pick there as well.
I do like the thought of moving to early in round two for an extra fourth if everyone we’re hoping for is off the board by #26.
