Revenge Of The Birds Community Mock Draft: 1st Pick, St. Louis Rams

With the first overall pick in the Revenge of the Birds community mock draft, the St. Louis Rams select...

Sam Bradford, Quarterback, Oklahoma

Positives: Sam Bradford brings ideal NFL quarterback size(6'4, 214 lbs), and arm strength to make most throws in the NFL. He operated a pro style offense at Oklahoma and had the stats to show why he's been projected so high in the draft. He is experienced and throws a smooth and consistent spiral. He has great footwork and character as well. Bradford has a very quick release, and often places the ball to the receiver in stride.

Negatives: Bradford hasn't been tested however, and he's never seen an NFL-caliber pass rush. His durability is also a question mark. He won't make any eye-opening throws and doesn't have the upside that Matthew Stafford and Mark Sanchez did. We haven't seen Bradford forced out of the pocket, so therefore, we don't know if he can make throws on the run.

Why the Rams will draft him: After passing on a quarterback in the first round for the last 2-3 seasons, the Rams will finally draft their quarterback of the future. Marc Bulger is set to be released sometime this offseason and they can't rebuild without a quarterback. Bradford is the most NFL ready and although he's a gamble, he makes the most sense to St. Louis.

Yes, it's that easy. So for those of you who selected a team and are worried that you won't be able to make the pick... don't be. With that being said, the draft order is complete and we have every team accounted for. What I wrote above is the desired model for the content, and what you'll need to do, is email me your pick at revengeofthebirds@gmail.com with some positives, negatives, and why your team will make that pick. WeiWuWie is now on the clock to make the 2nd overall pick for the Detroit Lions. Please email me sometime today as the pick must be made by tomorrow. Draft order and who has who is after the jump...

Yeah I'll update the list

What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.

It makes sense

But I think it would be a mistake to draft Bradford because there won’t be much around him. They should have taken Suh, but at least if they get Bradford we won’t have to play against him.

Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan.

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad.

andrew602 when we draft for a team – are we drafting who we think the team will draft or do we draft who we think they should draft? Thanks

You can go either way

I look at it as who I think the team will draft and why they will. So if the Rams are considering Suh, I still think they take Bradford. I do prefer it to be your decision though so if you want to rephrase the third section to: how he’ll help the ______, then that’s fine.

What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.
