What should the Cardinals do about their QB problem?

We all know that Kurt Warner retired, and Matt Leinart is the(Presumed)starter.  But many don't trust Matt Leinart to take the Cardinals back to the playoffs, and then the ultimate goal of the Cardinals, the Superbowl.  Some people have been interested in Donovan McNabb.  Others think we should trade for a QB.  The QB is the core of the team.  Without a good QB, the team itself is in danger.  What do you think the Cardinals should do about their QB problem?

I think

you’ll find the overwhelming opinion here is that Matt Leinart is our starting QB, should be our starting QB, and has the best opportunity to lead this team in 2010 over anybody else out there.

However, there are issues in terms of depth at this position, so it is widely speculated that a veteran will be brought in to back him up (rumor, for what it’s worth, largely centers around Chad Pennington). The other thought is that we’ll draft a QB in the middle to late rounds to have someone to develop, for all the obvious reasons . Names on that potential list have varied widely, everyone from Sam Bradford & Tim Tebow (stupid projections, my opinion, no way Bradford falls to #26 and Tebow isn’t worth an early pick) to Tony Pike & Dan LeFevour (possible) to Jarrett Brown, Max Hall, Zac Robinson, etc (most likely, in terms of where they’re likely to be picked).

Having said that, there is no question that Leinart will, at the very least, be the man in 2010.

+1 on david carr

i think matt should start, acquire carr in fa, and draft a qb somewhere in the 3-5 round range.

It's Matt's turn..

…pick up a FA to back him up, draft a low round QB to 3rd string it…

Matty is the starter.

Get Carr or Noodleton as the backup.

hmmmm

We need a new QB. Leinart isnt exactly the best QB to start this year or at least draft a backup

Titans 4 Life? Or Card fan?

If he can’t produce with the talent we have on O than ciao Matty.
I am not a fan of Leinart but I am optimistic. And I really, really want to use the name Lionheart. So tacky I know, but I love it.

Lionheart?

lol, it would be humorous.

A man from Dallas who bleeds red, not silver and blue.

Lionheart

Lienart
Leinhart

I’ve seen so many butcherings of his name on the internet during the last couple of years…

Talking to me?

Because if you are, I did spell it right. Read the entire post = LEINART. You need to chill out dude. Miller time.
Leinart SOUNDS like Lionheart. A nickname? Maybe for a ridiculous 4th quarter comeback? Has the post season sucked the humor and/or creativity out of you?
Heck at least Sir Whirley like it… :/

Indeed.

Sarcasm is a tough thing to read…
But being called “not a true fan” puts one on the defensive.

As a division rival

I think you guys will start Leinart because he knows your offense already.. St. Pierre is gone possibly which would leave you all to draft a QB mid to late rounds and acquire one via free agency like Bulger or Pennington
