Porter to not be Charged
As we all have heard, Joey Porter was arrested over the weekend for resisting arrest, assault on an officer, and DUI. After this happened there were no official charges against Porter and the California DA's office has decided to not charge him at all for these offenses.
Good news for Porter and the Cardinals.

Unless Goodell decides to do something.
Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan.
I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad.
Not now
With the questions involving the arresting officer, I think this whole thing just goes away. Sure looks like the Bakersfield DA wants that to happen.

I still contend he has major pull in Bakersfield.
Life's too short. Be a fan. Orlando Magic, Arizona Cardinals,Tampa Bay Rays and of course "the U"! What a winning combo.

well, no matter the situation he's off the charges! i am so looking forward to the draft and the preseason!
i am against drunk driving and i do like to drink myself and quite often. anyway, i hope this isn’t just a nfl guy getting off because of clout and/or money considerations. i know the nfl fan will not be privy to what the actuality was and i am okay with that for now. i just hope he wasn’t guilty as i am all for the signing of him especially on the terms az signed him that i learned from azcardinals.com. joey adds a dimension of player, attitude, skill and leadership that i believe CAN push the defense to another level. i’m hopeful that he can do as mentioned and he will keep his priorities straight not just in az but in life.
I'm really hoping...
… that the charges were dropped because they weren’t accurate. Based on what the lawyer is saying, there were inconsistencies (read: lies) in the cop’s story that were likely trying to justify his assaulting Porter. For now, I’m going to give Porter the benefit of the doubt.
