Cardinals Make Last Attempt To Retain Dansby
Jason LaCanfora tweeted that the Cardinals are making a "strong push" for Dansby in an attempt to keep the star linebacker. Dansby is meeting with the Dolphins today and has stated he's still open to whichever team makes the best offer. The Giants, Redskins, and Bears seem to be the only other teams being mentioned with interest in Dansby.
No words yet on how much the offer is or will be.

Hard to believe they're making a "hard push" while he's at the Phins headquarters
Somehow I can’t see Graves calling Bill Parcells and asking “hey can I talk to Karlos?”
It would be funny though.
Be careful....to a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
graves would be talking to his agent and then the agent
talks with karlos – so this isn’t so crazy that graves needs an old time switch board operator to patch him through.
its funny just picturing that
What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.

right.......I wasn't exactly being serious but I see what you're saying
Be careful....to a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
At least they are trying
It should of been done before this if they truely wanted to keep him
Remember no matter where you go in life...there you are!
They tried
Dansby wanted to test the open market. He’s been singing the same song the last two seasons. If he leaves, it won’t be because the Cardinals weren’t willing to pay him big money.

I believe they were close to getting deal done before the season started right?
Than he went and fired his agent and started demanding an outrageous amount.
exactly right
I think ’Los wanted a chance to test this market and unless we just threw stupid money at him, he was going to test the waters no matter what.

Yeah and the market for an ILB hadn't been set yet...
until Indy re-signed Brackett. Then numbers started falling in line.
Life's too short. Be a fan. Orlando Magic, Arizona Cardinals,Tampa Bay Rays and of course "the U"! What a winning combo.
If he was a player that meent that much to the team the deal would of gotten done.
You never see Payton Mannings contract come to the wire. Now im not saying Dansbys that inportant to a team infact few players are but if they saw him as a corner stone and couldnt live without him something would of gotten done.
Remember no matter where you go in life...there you are!
you also don't hear Peyton Manning saying "I want to make a SPLASH" in free agency
Be careful....to a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
Remember that Dansby wanted to wait until this season because there was no CBA
He knew he could get big time money regardless of what the amount was

Dansby truly make me appreciate..
A-dub. Not completely on topic. Adrian, could have easily played out his contract and not signed an extension and see what he commanded on the free agent market. IMO, he gave out a hometown discount.
Players like #24 are rare, He truly loves the cardinals, idk if he loves them as much as i do, lol, A-Dub has to be the greatest cardinal ever.

And Fitz/Warner talked about adjusting their contracts to help resign people last year.
Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan.
I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad.

I know you’re new around here. Welcome to ROTB if I haven’t said it yet.

thanks and i knew about the reply it's just that
when i went to post my +1 there wasn’t any other comments between mine and the one i wanted to comment on and then when i checked back there were – weird.
I appreciate
what Wilson, Warner, and Fitzgerald did as well but I can’t blame Dansby for testing the waters – team loyalty isn’t any more present than individual loyalty is.
There is a double-standard
Teams can cut a player in the middle of the contract but a player cant ask to be traded or they look bad.
