Safety Matt Ware will be visiting with the Seattle Seahawks on Monday.
"Ware's UCLA Bruins squared off regularly with Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll's USC Trojans in the Pac Ten during the early 2000s. In Seattle, Ware could provide depth at safety, cover kicks, and play nickel back in a pinch."

uh-oh
I really hope we can keep him here. Doesnt seem like the Cards have much interest in him though. If we could bring him back we would be set at safety I think. Wilson & Rhodes the starters with Ware & Johnson backing up. Lets remember Wares ability to come in allowed Wilson the opportunity to be a rover type on certain downs.
Never do card tricks for the group you play poker with.
Hope he can stay.
After Ware went down the entire Defense got worse.

Crazy thought
If Ware leaves what about Gibril Wilson as a backup?

he would probably command too much money to be a back up
What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.

exactly

My 1st thought as well
However I haven’t heard of any teams being interested. I guess this is one of those things that would have to happen towards end off season for $ to be right

Sounds like nothing is happening right now.

If he leaves...
we fill the slot through a mid-round draft pick. I’m expecting RJ to step up and increase his play. I think he has the talent but was lost as a rookie and he made rookie mistakes. I expect this to change going into this season as it all starts to come together. This would explain somewhat why the Cardinals seem less interested in Ware because they are confident with RJ.
Good point about the interest in Ware and the confidence in RJ

Have to be hopeful he comes on strong this year
But he couldn’t have gotten a worse start… with the possible exception of landing on IR half a game into the preseason…
