On the bright side -- there is one? -- Wilson and Rhodes should combine for an excellent 1-2 punch at safety. I talked to Rhodes on Sunday night, and he said he'd already gotten an enthusiastic text-message from Wilson. "We've got the two best safeties playing together in the NFL,'' Rhodes said. "I can cover, he can cover. I can blitz, he can blitz. I can play free safety, he can play free safety. I can play strong, he can play strong. It's going to be a great combination.''

The man
sounds excited. That bodes well for us. As everyone knows though, talk is cheap.
They are who we thought they were!

True but at least it seems were off to a positive start. Now let’s just get Foote and Porter here. Just read that the Steelers are interested in getting Foote back…

Encouraging post. I'm digging it Andrew
Who would win in a fight, Whisenhunt or a Hurricane?
Hold on, hold on, what if the Hurricanes name was Whisenhunt?
Daaaaaaaaaa Cards, Da Cards Da Cards Da Cards Da Cards!!!
If you read the whole article
King also says the Rolle signing by the Giants was one of the 3 biggest mistakes of the opening weekend of free agency. I like Rolle but that was a lotta cash.

I don’t see Dansby and Rolle working out for their new teams. I bet they are going to regret leaving.
Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan.
I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad.
I love the Rhodes signing...
I think Rhodes is going to be more succesfull than Rolle and will provide us with stronger tandem safety play. Don’t get me wrong, I loved having Rolle, but I am pretty big on Rhodes and think this is going to turn out huge for us.
