Cornering the market?

Stay connected for news and updates

So i was on the team sight today and reading some posts and saw a few things that alarmed me. First of all, I like mike adams and think he is a good guy and a good team first guy, which I really like. That being said I have a problem with him being our # 2 corner, which he is currently. I would prefer him as a 4 or 5 on the depth chart mainly contributing on special teams. Right now he is our wise veteran who is teaching our young corners. all of these things are alarming. He was violently abused by teams last year and that trend will only continue with DRC opposite him. Enough about adams. Whiz seems okay to with what we have at corner right now, but i do not know if i am okay with what we have at corner right now. there was brief mention about waiting for other teams to make cuts, but i do not like that either. I thought we had finally moved beyond taking other teams sloppy seconds. also, would it not be beneficial to bring in a corner as soon as possible so he can learn the playbook and work with J. Lott? I am just saying, i think it would be more then worth while to get a fred smoot or Dre Bly in to teach, lead and mentor our young CB's. It was a weakness last year that has only been addressed by trading mcfaden. Hopeful addition by subtraction applies here, or we go out and wrap up and amazing offseason with one more move. thoughts?
