Around SBN: Why Hockey Fans Should Root For Devils Vs. Kings

64031_seahawks_second_chances_football

The Seattle Seahawks waived RB LenDale White on Friday.

White was acquired via trade during this year's draft. The Seahawks reported that White was "not ready to be a member of the Seattle Seahawks." That's good news for the Cardinals. One less running back to worry about, although Justin Forsett played well in Arizona last year.

Why was he not ready?

Who would win in a fight, Whisenhunt or a Hurricane?
Hold on, hold on, what if the Hurricanes name was Whisenhunt?

Probably weight or attitude problems.

What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.

I'm surprised Carroll got rid of his buddy LandWhale so quickly...

I don’t know if any other coach could get away with this. I am so ready for him to be a bust I can’t stand his face. I just wanna set his platinum rug on fire!

I'm not pro-carroll or against carroll

but that takes some audacity to cut one of your guys, this early in the offseason, forget he was also his college coach.

You called that, they’re already spinning it to make him look like a no-nonsense leader who will release anyone, including those with previous ties, if they’re not on-board with what he’s doing.

I think this is only the first of what will prove to be a number of ill-advised moves on his part.

Sounds like he got in drug trouble

Per one of the comments on the Seahawks blog.

USC

If they arent getting paid to play in college, they have drug or legal issues…Really is Hollywood’s team.

I think they just switched spots with Tennessee in a couple of the rounds.

not much

It was almost like he was an afterthought.

by hadrarius on May 28, 2010 6:42 PM MDT up reply actions

White had off the field issues to begin with at Tennessee.

That’s why they didn’t want him. Then Chris Johnson went and made him completely irrelevant. He talked a lot of smack about his carries going to Johnson. The Titans have been pretty clear the whole time that it was LenDale White’s attitude that kept him off the field. They didn’t make a big stink about it only to keep his value from plummeting.

I wonder what will happen if Johnsons contract issues continue.

They shouldn't

If they’re smart they’ll cough up the money and pay him.

I would much rathe have The Howling Beantower here

I think Mr White’s NFL days are done. In the weird way my mind works however, it would be fun if the Cards signed (G)Lendale.

Someone else here, or the official site came up with Beantower, The Howling Beantower is mine.

He uh… all right, drug suspension is one thing, but really? This may offer some explanation for the Titans basically sitting him last year… I’m still surprised by this. After hearing that he’s been in-shape since last off-season, I guess I’ve been expecting a little more from him rather than less.
