Calais Campbell sighting!

I went out to see Inception with some friends today (good movie btw) and stopped by taco rico, about a mile from the University of Miami campus. Who should I see but one Mr. Calais Campbell and his brother Jared Campbell having a leisurely lunch. I went up and introduced myself and shook his hand (which is about 3x the size of mine) and told him what a big Cardinals fan I am. He looked lean and built, thanks to Lott I'm sure. I told him I was looking forward to seeing him play this year and told him we were going to miss Kurt. He said he was too and wished he had a little Brett Favre in him. I told him how little respect I have for Favre because of his prima donaness and he agreed and corrected himself saying he wished Kurt had the drive to play into his 40's. I asked him about Matt and he said he's been working really hard and is looking good as well as the rest of the team. All in all he was a really nice guy, very humble, and didn't mind taking time out of his day to talk to a fan.

Nice!

I like how a lot of the Cardinals players are nice and care about the fans. A lot of other teams aren’t like that.

Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan [I have always lived in Arizona, dad is from Chicago].

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.

What are the chances that you would run into a Cardinal in another state. That’s like finding a needle in a hay stack.

What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.
