Another day, another batch of links.
David Climer: Tennessee Titans caught everyone by surprise with blitzes | tennessean.com | The Tennessean
When the Titans defense was pitching three straight three-and-outs early in the preseason game on Monday night, Arizona quarterback Matt Leinart noticed something decidedly different.
Regarding Leinart, Do You Trust In Whiz? - Desert Dirt - SB Nation Arizona
The Arizona Cardinals have faced tremendous change this offseason, and I won't cover it all here. What I want to know is, do Cardinals fans trust head coach Ken Whisenhunt to deal with it all?
NFL Videos: Would Warner return?
Kurt Warner talks about the Cardinals, Matt Leinart, and the possibility of a return to the NFL.

Over at the Titans’ facility …
ust got back from the Cards’ practice with the Titans. There will be a story up in a bit, but I have to say, it was cleaner than I expected — no scuffles at all.

Some quick thoughts after Wednesday's practice against the Titans
Could the Cardinals cut quarterback Matt Leinart before the season even begins?
There’s no question that Matt Leinart has looked less than spectacular this preseason as he assumes the starting quarterback job for the time being. But has Leinart's play been bad enough to get him cut from the team?
The Associated Press: No brawls, just different faces for Cardinals
Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt and Titans coach Jeff Fisher may have hit on the way to eliminate brawls when opposing NFL teams practice together in the preseason. Just play the game first, then practice instead of the other way around.

Arizona Cardinals preseason chat with Kent Somers
The Arizona Republic's Cardinals reporter talked with readers about how the team looks halfway through the preseason. Below is a replay of the chat, which ran from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Chris Johnson claimed he'd be racing Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie | ProFootballTalk.com
The Cardinals played the Titans on Monday night. And the Cardinals have stayed in Tennessee for post-game joint practices with the Titans. Supposedly, some extra-curricular activities also were planned.
NFL.com Blogs " Blog Archive A Warner return? That would be pretty cool "
NFL.com senior columnist Vic Carucci pointed out in his Tuesday Huddle that many would be clamoring for Kurt Warner — the Kurt Warner Machine if you will — to come out of retirement to save the Cardinals franchise. Or your fantasy team.
Trouble in the trenches?
No football unit is more difficult to analyze than the offensive line.
Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans keep their cool at practice
Maybe it was the unseasonably cool temperatures, or the admonitions from coaches, but the Cardinals and Titans managed to make it through their reunion Wednesday without a punch being thrown.
Receiving corps dwindling
I noted yesterday wide receiver Darren Mougey hurt his hand at practice yesterday. Kent Somers found out Mougey broke his hand, which obviously, sidelines him (and probably cost him any chance of sticking around).
Cardinals Practice with the Titans
azcentral.com blogs - Kent Somers - KentSomers - On Leinart and another WR injury
There has been some speculation lately, such as this column by Michael Lombardi of NFL.com, that the Cardinals could release quarterback Matt Leinart before this season. I'm told the Cardinals have not discussed that possibility. As it stands now, Leinart remains the starter and is expected to be behind center on Sept. 12 when the Cardinals play the Rams.
Arizona Cardinals' depth chart shifts a little
No official changes have been made to the Cardinals' depth chart, but Wednesday's practice against the Titans provided hints on what might come.
KTAR.com - Lombardi adamant about Leinart not being the Cardinals guy
Matt Leinart has been drawing criticism from the national -- and at times local -- media since Kurt Warner retired last February.
KTAR.com - Wolf: Apocalypse Cardinals
Apocalypse, literally translated, means the unveiling. And it is the perfect word to describe the fortunes of the Arizona Cardinals in 2010. But lifting the veil has little to do with Big Red quarterbacks.
Is Leinart On His Way Out Of Town? - Desert Dirt - SB Nation Arizona
NFL.com’s Mike Lombardi has him on a short list of surprising players that could be waived or dealt soon enough. We’ll see.
Matt Leinart gaining a reputation as Captain Checkdown | ProFootballTalk.com
Matt Leinart has completed 10-of-13 passes this season, but those passes have averaged a measly 5.9 yards per attempt.
Matt Leinart Needs To Get Out Of The Film Room And Back To The Club - Desert Dirt - SB Nation Arizona
It's painfully obvious what's going on with Matt Leinart right now. Lack of confidence.
Too much, too soon from O-line?
There was little question during the offseason the Cardinals had stockpiled good depth with their offensive linemen. If you believe Brandon Keith can play in this league — and I believe that, as do the coaches — they have a good group. But maybe everyone, at least on the outside, was expecting too much too soon.

Leinart cut from the team? Hahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!
Why would the team cut the guy? Even Shawn Hill was trade for a 7th rounder. Leinart, if not needed anymore, would still have trade value, so no, the team wouldn’t cut him.
So what was the outcome of the Johnson DRC race?
Curious to hear if DRC has lost anything after the knee surgery
Never heard anything about it yet

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.
Might have been better to wait a little bit longer
But at least I’ll have a ton of stuff to post tomorrow after the **** storm that started after this new development…

Kurt Warner is all class. It's amazing the spin anti Leinart people are putting on this interview.
Warner didn’t sell Matt like a late night infomercial. No kidding. Who is shocked? He didn’t say anything to trash him either. In fact he said Matt’s been doing everything right, just needs to show what he will do come game time. Hasn’t had much game time yet. What he has had has been behind a turn stile of an O line.
The thing that I found most interesting was that they tried to get Warner to agree that Leinart getting upset on the sidelines was a bad thing. Never watched Kurt on the sidelines much I guess. Funny to me really since most Cardinals fans would like to see more emotion from him.
