In Whiz I trust....as much as ever...
Well, first let me say welcome to all the new ROTB'ers....Let's get started on the "Controversy". Who to pick Leinart or DA...first and foremost my opinion on Leinart is that he lost his job when he threw (someone correct me if I'm wrong) the first pass of this year to Larry and then he got clobbered. Then things only got hotter from there...It's hard to say who would be better, we know whiz wants a ball control run game which we have in the "Howling Beantower" and a vertical pass...We saw these attempts his first year in Arizona, but ol 2.5 James wasnt making things happen. Leinart is Accurate and I wont say noodle arm, but his long ball's lack velocity. Anderson is Inaccurate, however he could throw a ball through a brick wall...Also onto some patterns...We had Boldin complaining about the organization after Wilson was awarded a hefty new contract...this year we have Matty Boi whining about not being the starter and Dockett awarded a hefty extension. Point is Whiz and Co. will keep and reward the quiet, workaholic, elite players, and show everyone else the door. He fixed quite a few of warner's flaws, and there is no reason to think if Matt isnt a cardinal by week one he wont hammer the flaws out of Anderson....So in the words of fellow ROTB'er Long Beach, can we get a dose of insanity in here?

A dose of sanity
I think is what you meant to say. As we noted before there’s more than enough of the other to last awhile.
Completely agree about the change that will take place with DA and his flaws, they will get hammered out. How quickly everyone forgets the magic he works with QB’s, which should be the most obvious red-flag Leinart has on him.
I can't wait for the true beef between Leinart and Whis...
comes out after he’s gone. Boldin saying he’s not surprised in the least. Matt saying it has nothing to do with his performance. Something must be going down behind the scenes that they are not airing to the public about Leinart. He’s probably a big douch!
Who would win in a fight, Whisenhunt or a Hurricane?
Hold on, hold on, what if the Hurricanes name was Whisenhunt?
Daaaaaaaaaa Cards, Da Cards Da Cards Da Cards Da Cards!!!

And Whiz also had problems with Roethlisberger.
Seems a little bit odd that so many people would have a beef with him.

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.
Rapistburger's #1 receiver has issues with him too.
Hines Ward was making waves with his dissatisfaction with Big Ben last season. The steelers covered it up pretty quickly. Roethlisburger’s off season escapades have shown what kind of character he has. There have been stories about how he has been on shaky ground with his team mates for a long time, and this prior to his latest date rape media festival. This probably isn’t the parallel you want to draw in defense of Leinart.
Only difference with Big ben is
He’s won when it counts the most…check out one of the greatest super bowl drives in history led by him that we happened to be on the wrong end of
After the Concussion against the Chiefs right?
I wasn’t using it to defend Leinart either. Just saying it is odd that so many people that have played under Whiz seem to have problems with him.
But at least he didn’t rape anyone….

I think that will be equally true with all coaches.
There will always be personality clashes. You can’t please everyone and it’s not the coaches’ job to try. It’s a tough business, replete with disappointment.
One thing about Matt though, he never seemed to need a body guard to get a girl into a hot tub with him.
+1
on so many levels – the comment about the bodyguard being first.
It may sound like a lot, but clashes with three players in the amount of time that he has coached isn’t a big number (not saying there aren’t others). But in looking at the amount of ex-Steelers that have joined him here, who have said he’s the main reason they did, says a lot more to me than his relationships with a couple of diva QB’s.
Boldin....Roethlisberger...Weinart
Did anyone actually here boldin’s bit on the radio? He seemed to Bash Whisenhunt then finished up with something like if it’s not about the Purple and Black I could careless…i’d be one to bet he’s jealous that the Cardinals are getting all the media darlings’ attention this preseason.
