Arizona Cardinals At St. Louis Rams: Second Half Game Thread
The Cardinals and Rams are currently tied up 10-10. The defense, running game, and special teams have all looked good but Derek Anderson has already disappointed. The Cardinals need to step it up in the second half to come out with a win. Go Cardinals!!!

I still think Cards play better, so let’s get DA back on track.
just curious - how come another thread is necessary for 2nd half??

When our D does good, our Offense does bad.
So, now that our defense is doing bad, hopefully DA will go out and throw like 10 touchdowns.
And Alex Smith is going to the Pro Bowl

and no flags.
So much for the idea that there would be excessive O holding calls with 2 officials in the offensive back field.
We need to have a statement drive here. Need a TD badly
We all bleed Cardinal Red, but most of us don't recognize it!
From DA, too
Not from our running game. They’ve done decent. But DA needs to show that he can throw more than an incompletion.
I don't understand how Bradford, who's a rookie, is doing so well
Whereas DA, a veteran, who’s been to the Pro Bowl, who’s also throwing to the Cardinals, one of the best WR teams in the league, is doing so bad.
Like I said, the world makes no sense. Now you’re going to tell me that the Rams and Lions are playing each other in the Superbowl.

Thoughts so far...
The offense looks very confused. Very little to like here – Anderson has thrown quite a few errant ones, but OL hasn’t looked great either, actually they’ve looked bad. The running game had one great series but has been absent other than that. They have some serious work to do. Not seeing anything different then I saw in preseason – I know you’re not supposed to judge off of preseason, but in the Cards case for offense it seems to have been accurate.
The defense has looked so-so, with pass coverage not great and the line being good but not spectacular. Would like to see more pressure on Bradford.
At least the 49ers look like Garbage right now...

"Da Suns’ Bench. Call them Victoria’s Secret — all kinds of wonderful support."
Curious...
How does Long’s hit on Anderson not rate a roughing where Campbell’s hit on Bradford did? According to Lynch, Campbell got flagged since he rode Bradford to the ground – Long did the same thing…

Anderson...
As bad as he’s looked this game, we’re going to have to live or die with him this season. Pulling him now isn’t the answer, IMHO. If we get halfway through the season and it’s clear he’s not the answer (I don’t think he is) – then it’ll be time to give our rookies some real playing time. I question the Cards wisdom bringing him to begin with, but now that’s he here we need to see how it pans out. As good as Hall looked against scrubs in the preseason I don’t think he’s the immediate answer.
We need to address the offensive line early in the next draft. Grabbing veterans in FA hasn’t proved terribly useful for us.

Beanie is a fumble machine.
have you ever watched a game b4 this one?
by Superfizzogotflow on Sep 12, 2010 5:35 PM MDT up reply actions
I highly doubt Beanie would have fumbled twice in this game. He lost two fumbles all of last season.
And he didn’t fumble for the last 5 games of last season. By the way, have you ever watched a game before this one?

YEAH CAUSE WE ALL KNOW BEANIE DOESN"T FUMBLE
ground caused it anyways.

The ground can't cause a fumble. Cards ball right?
What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.

Let's look on the bright side
How would the score look if we didn’t have those 4 lost fumbles, fake or not?
5 seconds left

there's a lot to learn from this one
getting out with a win would be icing, cuz we didn’t play well
this better not be a repeat of the lions win last year.

All in all
Not that bad of a start for Bradford, 3 INTs.
Not a bad start for us, 4 fumbles lost…out of 7?
That's it gents. What a stressful game but at least we got the win. I'll have a wrap up posted soon

Such an ugly win
But a win all the same
We have a lot of work to do before next week
Thanks for the company ROTB Community
Hope next one will be easier… With the 49ers losing 31-6, I’ll consider the Cards 2-0.

What will the Cards do when they play a Good team...
The Rams are bad and with a Rookie QB. Anderson had almost 300 yards but he can’t hit a wide open WR consistantly. He has so many bad passes it wasn’t funny. If the Cards are playing a good team they go down with a performance like that from Anderson.
Really? Really? How about those dominating 49ers?
Scored 6 points. Gave up 31. To the Seahawks. Yeah, you’re in position to talk smack.
that doesn't seem so much as smack but truth. d.a. played subpar to be gracious.
i do love the fact the noners got their asses handed to them.
