49ers Failure

I did not see the 49ers game but it was so delicious seeing the game updates of them getting trashed by the Seahawks.  I think they had a serious case of entitlement and it got the better of them.  Everyone has been picking them to win the division, they beat the Cardinals twice last year.  It all got to their head and they forgot how tough it is to win in the NFL. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha !!!!!!!!!!!

You have to wonder...

I wonder if they were too caught up in all the media coverage, thinking all they had to do was show up. I didn’t see the game, but that score……………….ouch!!

but I love it!

Yeah...

But they have a ton of playmakers on offense we heard all offseason…VD and Crabs…B!tch please…Michael Crabtree is a #2 WR at best…Davis just got a big fat contract so he is no longer hungry…Gore is the budding star on that offense, but he is gonna get hammered with two rookies starting on the offensive line….on defense the only thing they have is Willis and justin smith…that secondary looks sad…

I tried to

Make a constructive comment, about how they still need a QB, #1, and HC, but they called me a troll…..and I was attacked by like a dozen members…O well

Okay mommy....

If I want a lecture I’ll turn on the news…just admit it, you guys were stomped all over…Your overhyped team has only one elite player…Your offense last year was a fluke…now that everyone has seen how Raye calls plays or STD’s tendencies on plays…They have nothing at all….Icing on the cake for this season would be the Rams knocking you out of third place in the division

oh come on

at least we know theyre good at kicking field goals

by eduardonwa on Sep 12, 2010 10:52 PM MDT reply actions

Apparently they

handed the game to us and their loss was just a fluke. It’s still way too early to get my hopes up. Rather have the Cards win the division if the Hawks fail. Love to watch Fitzgerald play, when it’s not against Seattle.

you know what, everyone is saying just that; “its too early” or “its only one game, theres 15 more”. well thats what they said about preseason.. “oh its ok its only preseason, it doesnt even count” well you gotta win when it counts, the cardinals won and the 49ers did not. it has been an interesting sunday so far, the colts lost to the texans, dallas lost to wash, and the seattle proved to be tough leading by 26 points to the “statistical nfc west champions”, i just dont buy that “its only week 1” thing.

by eduardonwa on Sep 12, 2010 11:20 PM MDT up reply actions

but its no doubt cardinals struggled to a weak team on the division

by eduardonwa on Sep 12, 2010 11:25 PM MDT reply actions

We were missing....

Our best LB and a pretty decent RB…and the after watching that game….Wait til the seahawks play the rams, we’re all gonna soon be wishing they hadnt picked him….Bradford will be good…He was smart enough today to duck down when Adub blew through the line….guess he saw how trent edwards wasnt the same again…HAH

Washington may actually be our best inside linebacker.

Not the most experienced or the guy I want calling the defense but possibly the best linebacker on ability alone.

Eh...

Ok on ability to move and get in on plays…D. Wash cycle is cleaning up the inside of our D (I totally stole from someone on here)

BAM!

I wish I had Tivo or something so I could watch Daryl Washington throw his whole body weight at Steven Jackson and slam him to the ground! That was classic!

I don't think it was a fluke

I’ve thought all along that Singletary is not the answer for the Niners as head coach. He’s a tough talker who can get his guys to play hard (sometimes) and that’s about it. He’s a below-average game-planner and strategist. He’s the next Ray Rhodes, but not even as good. Rhodes at least took his teams to the playoffs a couple of times before his limitations were exposed.

+100000000

They’ll never get anywhere with him…He was just a fill in….then they made him HC….He obviously didnt get along with the old GM…who if you look at some of the players on that team…has a nose for talent…so let’s send him to a division rival which watching the game Seattle seemed to know the team inside and out….

all im going to say...

is with that game that the niners are on the back of my mind and now our focus is stopping the Hawks from taking our division title, right now with Carroll they fired up and they got the momentum dont be surprised if they win next week….

#36 is and always will be the LaSH! get used to it!

Over on ninersnation

Someone there predicted them to start the season 4-0, and nobody really disagreed.

VD & Crabs

Present from Pete Carroll...

To: 49ers

From: your best friend proving that USC is clearly better than your pro team…

P.S. USC would comment on this but theyre all sitting this season…Sorry, Best Wishes.

Music to my ears

Communication a growing problem for Niners

Alex Smith is blaming the coaching staff. Singletary is blaming the headsets. Player trust in the coaching staff is reportedly tepid at best. And what kind of head coach thanks the opposing coach for beating them? Is he saying that he wasn’t able to motivate his guys enough and needed the other team’s coach to hand them a humiliating loss in order to do it? If so, he’s admitted to failing to do the one thing he is supposed to be good at. How is that going to inspire his players’ confidence? If I were a player and my head coach thanked the opposing coach for kicking our butts, I would lose all respect for him from that point onwards.

I’m loving all of this. The team all the “experts” predicted would run away with the division this season (despite not posting a winning record in 8 years) fell flat on its face in week 1 and the problems could be much bigger than that.
