Currently our run game is ranked 12th in the league after three games, two without Beanie averaging 116 yards per game. Also surprisingly Derrick Anderson (as seen on Sando's blog) is the 4th best QB in the fourth quarter. Wait what? Yes it's true. Sure, David Garrard is also on the list, but so is Manning.
What I am getting at is that there is that this offense has a lot of potential. Thinking about the fact that we switched QB's at the last second in preseason, Fitz has been hurt, Beanie was hurt, and now that we have lost Breaston for two weeks, we haven't had our full offense on the field together since the beginning of preseason. Now, I am just as skeptical as everyone else is about DA and his massive inconsistency problems, I do see light at the end of the tunnel. And I see us getting carried their on the backs of Beanie, Hightower and the Hyphen.
Our line obviously struggles with pass protection and our QB obviously struggles with getting the ball to THE BEST WR IN FOOTBALL, so the answer lies in running the ball a heck of a lot more and forcing teams to respect the run which should lead to some play actions passes and bootlegs that definitely helped DA last game in the second half.
Thoughts? I think it's time to bring on the Howlingbeantower!
