guess that settles the competition between Wells and Lutui

No longer a Wells fan anyway.
He used to be serviceable but now lacks the push for the run game and has been beaten too many times.
Life's too short. Be a fan. Orlando Magic, Arizona Cardinals,Tampa Bay Rays and of course "the U"! What a winning combo.

wasn't wells a sixth round pick?
sounds fair to me

Better than nothing.
It’s probably not fair, but I’ve always been critical of Wells, his tendency to get bull rushed by DTs cost a lot of pressure.
He was never very dominate as an edge sealer as a pulling guard either.
This also gives less turnover on the line. Now there are two starters in the same spot and 3/5 from last year (Levi’s spot change). It’s progress.
Freakin Matt just text me "We traded Wells to Philli"!
I shit a brick until I realized it was Reggie, lol. Duece was in the doghouse because of his weight gain but he’ll be the starter come the Rams game. He’s way too much of a force not to start and we have too much young depth that is serviceable and making way less than he to hold onto him. Good move IMO.
Who would win in a fight, Whisenhunt or a Hurricane?
Hold on, hold on, what if the Hurricanes name was Whisenhunt?
Daaaaaaaaaa Cards, Da Cards Da Cards Da Cards Da Cards!!!
Another trade to the Eagles huh?

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.
Who will be the primary back up behind Lutui now?
Hadnot?

Thought he worked as a tackle not guard
Does he fill in at both?

Doesn't matter. I was wrong. He's gone too now.

Hadnot has looked "lights out" from what I have seen...
I love his feet and ability to finish his blocks and get to the next level. He single handedly broke that screen to Breaston last night.

I noticed that.
When he pulls he seems to get there on time.

Hell Yeah Hadnot looked bad ass against the 'skins.
Whisenhunt wouldn’t say yes or no about Lutui starting. Hadnot may have the job.
The Eagles' O-Line hasn't been very good in the Preseason
So I’d say this is a good move for them.

as an eagles fan
yes. We needed help at the O-Line. We had 13 draft picks go mainly to defense and none to the OLine. I was screaming about it and everyone said I was crazy. Now we make his change less than a week before game 1.
....When does football season start again???

I was under the impression that Hadnot would be a starter for us when we signed him...
Guess I was wrong, but he has looked impressive from what little I have seen… Isn’t he also able to play center? Always good to have an able body ready to back up Sendlein for an insurance policy, but how often do teams actually carry two pure centers into the season? Have the Cards ever?
