OLB Stevie Baggs Cut But Eligible For Practice Squad
The former CFL star Stevie Baggs was cut according to the Arizona Republic's Kent Somers. He is eligible for the practice squad.
By my count that means there is 19 moves left to make it to the 53 man roster.

He'll be fine.
Life's too short. Be a fan. Orlando Magic, Arizona Cardinals,Tampa Bay Rays and of course "the U"! What a winning combo.

I was rooting for him
Hope he makes the practice squad

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.
did he not show anything during preseason?
I couldn’t catch most of the games and so I had to listen to them on the radio.. I didn’t hear his name often but that doesn’t always mean much… I was hoping he would be one of those surpise additions since he had such sacking prowess in the CFL… DIfferent size and speed in that league, so I guess it doesn’t correlate to NFL play much, kinda like college, but I’m still surprised… Hopefully he doesn’t get picked up and stays on the practice squad, maybe with a little tutelage and experience with the team he can turn into a serviceable backup… ?
Daivs, Brown, and Baggs haven't really shown much
I guess Baggs was cut because Brown was a draft pick.

i was wondering about cody brown as well..
haven’t heard his name come up much, but I guess he could be considered a 2nd rookie 2nd rounder on the squad this year since he didn’t play at all last year, but it seems our true 2010 2nd rounder’s name is all over the place. So I guess his performance is disappointing in regards to where he was drafted, but truth be told Wash could really have gone in the 20s of the 1st round and nobody would’ve questioned the drafting teams decision, especially now… so i guess comparing brown and wash would be unfair to brown (although I think he will contribute in a small way this year)… I was excioted for him last year, and it sounded like he was progressing well before the injury…

Baggs had a few moments.
He had a nice swat down of a pass vs the Titans and made a couple other plays that game. Against the Redskins he did nothing. He couldn’t shed a block or find a gap all night. I didn’t get to see the other 2 games.
My thoughts
The cards I think want him on ps mainly to see how brown does during the season if he is bad he is gone…. then Baggs gets activated that is my thoughts

Very interesting idea

Talked to Kent
From what he said it doesn’t seem Stevie made P.S he said his chances aren’t that good

Too bad. Baggs came off as a pretty nice and interesting guy. Had some "Kurt Warner" to him.
I once tried to quit a job using a dry erase board. Unfortunately I wrote the first part in Sharpie so I couldn't finish.

well he said that
that is not exactly what the coasces think you never know my guess is they will evaluate Cody Brown, then if he does bad they will bring in someone else.
