Big Herm got cut??
…are we keeping Claxton maybe?
Probably
I guess Hermans weight is what got him cut.

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.
I was on the fence with Cody but did not see Big Perm, I mean Big Herm getting the boot.

Brown looked lost out there last night
…still surprised they gave up on last years 2nd rounder though. They must really love Davis and Schofield.
"There are preachermen on TV in a suit and a tie, they tell you to send your money to the Lord, but they give you their address" Hank Williams Jr.
As long as Davis makes the squad I will be right on last years prediction.
Last year I said Davis would be a better fit for the Cards than Brown. But I also said one of our DTs would make the squad also. He then got cut. Can’t win them all.

There's an upset on the OL somewhere
I thought once Wells was traded, to theoretically bring us to 8 that everyone was safe. Have to think SenSurround is right about Claxton unless I’m drawing a blank on someone more obvious.
Unless...
We needed to find space on the roster for….say…4 QBs?
I’m really, really hoping that’s not the case, but……
4 QBs on the roster now.

At least until tomorrow
3 more slices of pie left to be dumped. However we still have 11 CB/S I think, so there’s likely to be some guys let go there.
concerned
I am concerned with our drafts since whiz has been here. they are either HIT or MISS it seems in early rounds. I am thinking Buster Davis, Rashad Johnson, Andre Roberts, Cody Brown. You cant keep whiffing on 2nd or third round guys and sustain success.
Never do card tricks for the group you play poker with.
Normally I'd agree
but four of the five picks from 2007 are still with the team and 2008 still has six out of seven. Granted, 2009 is down to 5 out of 8 but I think that speaks to the kind of competition and depth that has been built up. How many other teams would have kept their 2nd and 5th round picks just because of their draft status?
His success in the late rounds is probably unparalleled as well (LSH, Hightower, Keith, Breaston, Patrick). I can’t remember a time when a team had so many UDFA’s do as well as what they found this year.
I think they’ve stocked the fridge pretty well so far.

Let's give some credit to the scouts.
Those are the guys doing all the leg work, digging up the late rounders and udrafteds.
Like I always say, Steve Keim is the MAN!

I'll take missed early rounders...
When it means getting people like Breaston and Hightower, and possibly undrafted Gems like Stephen Williams.

As long as you’re getting 3-4 productive players out of each draft I couldn’t care less if they’re 1st rounders or UDFA’s.
Great point
Love the bargain shopping?

Brown and Johnson
Then Trevor Canfield, the other 7th rounder the team had.

Herman
Rally, really bummed by the loss of Munster. Thought he was douing well and that the coaches liked his potential. Guess not. Think the remark about his weight is dead on, though. Brown doesn’t suprise me. Think someone will snag Herman off the wire? Be cool if we could get him back for the practice squad.

Wow
Really should edit my post next time. Sorry ’bout that.

As long as we can tell what you are saying (which I can), it doesn't matter

Cody Brown
Couldn’t he go to the practice squad too?
We are red, we are white, we are Danish Dynamite!
From Whisenhunts comments I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't.
Then again we’re staring down a hole when we look at OLB depth.
Brown could to if he doesn't get picked up first
Teams could see potential
