Coach Whiz: "Max Hall was the best QB during Camp" (PFT Article)
If this article is accurate and DA is on a very short leash, all of you guys on the Max Hall bandwagon could get your wish sooner than you think....

1984 anyone ?
EVERY report from that camp, by ANYONE I read, stated that Leinart was easily the best there. On the odd day Leinart was described as bad, the rest were described as even worse (possibly really good days for the defense there).
EVERY damn one. ALL OF THEM.
Now , from the Ministry of Truth, we get issued the new ‘history’.
Gotta give it to Whisenhunt, he rolls the big dice. Should DA tank (high probability) and Hall get destroyed … he is going to look pretty much like an unemotional Denny Green.
Godd luck Mr. Coach.

Love the "ministry of truth" reference
The Leinert comments out of camp are what had me so confused.

Same here

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.
I really doubt the accuracy of this report
as it quotes one of the most imaginative “writers” I’ve ever read. The only quote I’ve heard from the Whiz about this was his public acknowledgement about deciding if he was comfortable enough with Hall as his back-up to release Leinart.
Which is why I said IF it is accurate
IF

I knew what you were talking about in the first post.

To add
I believe it was something along the lines of being as comfortable as he can possibly be with having a rookie as a back-up. Sorry Peter, doesn’t sound like a QB “controversy” to me.
Oh c'mon guys let's get another qb controversy going? The last one was so fun i think this one would just be the icing on the proverbial cake.
Just let me know….. Just let me know… Okay? Because I’m in if you all are.
