NFL Kick Off Open Game Thread

NEW ORLEANS - SEPTEMBER 09: Fans gather outside the Superdome prior to the New Orleans Saints playing against the Minnesota Vikings at Louisiana Superdome on September 9 2010 in New Orleans Louisiana. (Photo by Chris Graythen/Getty Images)

I'm a little late getting this up but I figured some of us would want to discuss the first regular season game of 2010. We waited all offseason for this and it's finally here. Are there many things to watch for? Well if you're interested in the return of Brett Favre or if the Saints can repeat then yes.

Don't forget that the Cardinals play both of these teams this year -- which also says something about how difficult our season is this year. Judging by how quick the Saints scored, I'd say the Cardinals defense will have it's work cut out for them. Use this thread to discuss this seasons's first game.

Hartley missed two kicks.

Lifelong Arizona Cardinals/Chicago Bears fan [I have always lived in Arizona, dad is from Chicago].

I can't stand fair-weather/bandwagon fans, stick with your team, throughout the good and the bad. And don't switch to whichever team wins the Super Bowl each year.

Neither one of them looked like a team that was in the NFC Championship

Favre is looking worn out.

Favre just looked rusty—like a guy who missed almost all of training camp, was missing one of his best receivers, and didn’t have much chemistry with the rest of his offense.

Not something I’d expect to last through week 9.
