Internship and Apologies

I have some great news from our team and for me. Over Training Camp, Darren Urban told me that a potential internship would be opening up for the summer. I am glad to say that I was able to be accepted into that internship so some of my work will be put up on azcardinals.com next summer. So if guys want any cheerleaders numbers or anything hit me up. Just kidding about that one. So who am I? I'm a 16 year old sports fanatic. I didn't start following football till 08 when I turned on the TV and saw Monty Beisel block the punt against the Cowboys in OT. Since then I've followed the Cardinals. I may sound like a band wagoner or something like that but I live in Tucson so I gotta love the home team. I also play a lil football at DB and WR. And finally I want to apologize to Drullin'OverDaCards. I lost my cool when you commented on my other post and I should have realized it was constructive criticism.

Listen to your gut feelings but do a little research prior to posting or answering. Grammer, spelling and fact checking count big time, if you ever decide to turn pro. Good luck!

I am not very subtle and tend to be a too hard on new guys who show up so sorry about that. I am also really frustrated by the Cardinals right now – not really much of an excuse.

Anyway, I agree with Jess, this post tells me enough about you to give me a frame of reference and make me want to hear more – for instance, it’s great to know you are 16 and currently playing football.

What does the internship entail? Can you work on it during the school year or is it just a summer gig? Either way it is obviously a great opportunity.

I think if I could go back in time to when I was 16, knowing what I know today, I would steer my career toward doing something for an NFL team – maybe working in the front office somewhere – start out in scouting then get into player personnel. Sounds like fun.

It's just a Summer Gig..

But I get to stay with Darren Urban, spend some time with the players, and hopefully interview Fitzgerald. If I get to interview Fitz, I’ll post the video on here. Thanks for the support.

This is a pretty good sight to practice posting stuff on if you have the time and desire. Guys will challenge your opinions with thier own thoughts which keeps it interesting. Opinions about this team are all over the board right now.
