I've been reading a lot of "don't blame Wishenhunt," for the Cardinal poor record once again this year. Let's be clear, the HC and FO are the one's responsible for the team's overall record. Players have to play, but the HC and FO are responsible for choosing and motivating the players we have. If you take out Kurt Warners selection for the team and then as its QB starter, there's not a lot to say about the Cardinals as a team. Take Jim Harbaugh for example, the 49ter turn around is historic, and it has taken place in the first half of the season.
The Cardinals have never had a fast start, even the year they won the super bowl, where they wouldn't even have been in the playoffs if they were in a stronger division. The ream never looks good coming out of TC,any year.
We've never had a top defense, and Wishenhunt would have already been run out of town if he was the HC in, say, the NFL East in particular. Wishensunt's pass for coaching in the super bowl has run out.
The team simply looks disorganized this year.
The only thing that Wishenhut ever did to get some focus was to have the Cardinals practice in pads, but the new CBA has limited practicing in pads; so, Wishenhut no longer has that crutch to bail him out.
Ifs just a matter of time, now, until loyal fans one by one jump ship, and finally the owner will see the light.
