Time to take a look at the latest Madden 12 sim, this one playing out the week seven matchup between the Steelers.and the
Again, I am using 15 minute quarters, the rosters are the most recent ones, and the game is played through the Super Sim mode.
This game wound up being more eventful than last weeks with scoring done in every quarter this time.
The Cards ans Steelers each got on the board early with a 56 yard pass from Kolb to Doucet and a 7 yard pass from Big Ben to Antonio Brown. The Cards then dominated the second quarter with a 25 yard kick from Feely and a 57 yard scoring pass from Kolb to Beanie. I'm guessing that Madden hasn't realized the Cardinals can't execute screen passes yet. They went into halftime up 17-7.
In the second half the Cardinals started off the third quarter poorly giving up two scores, both of them on two yard runs, one by Fullback David Johnson and the other by Rashard Mendenhall putting the Steelers up 21-17 going into the fourth quarter.
The Cardinals did manage to pull through though, scoring the final points of the game in the fourth quarter with a nine yard pass from Kolb to Andre Roberts.
In this game, the Cardinals defense did play well, nobody had a sack for either team but Big Ben was held to 166 yards he also threw a pick to Patrick Peterson. Kolb did throw two interceptions to go along with his three scores though, even Bryant McFadden, the man who couldn't catch anything when he was here got one.
In the end, the Cardinals won by a score of 24-21. The Madden Cardinals have improved their record to 4-2.
