RotB Pick'em League: Week 7 Results & Week 8 Picks

PrintLooks were certainly deceiving in Week 7. What could have been a good "padding" week for the winning percentages turned out to be a week of trap games (hello Baltimore), injury affected games (Oakland), and uncertain divisional games (Houston). If you were one of the seven that picked five correct games, congratulations! If you were one of the many that had three or less correct picks, you weren't alone! If we throw out the one-and-done atop the overall standings (who will be off the chart in Week 10 if no more picks are made), Drullin'OverDaCards sits atop the Iron Man standings at least. Ten more weeks to go folks, so plenty of time for the standings to shift. Heck, Jess may even get out of the basement.

I admit it was pretty tempting to sit back - .732 is a pretty good percentage, but
ignoring the strategic rules seems to be working for me so what the hell.

since the Minnesota over Carolina pick I am leading. If San Diego wins MNF I go 7-1 and will be the only winner this week.

That, plus the Ravens loss, the only 2 I got right were the Stealers and Saints. So hopefully I’ll make up for it this week.

BAL – Since the Cards have given me almost 1/4 of my losses
CAR – Newton is way better than I thought
DET – No chance for Tebow Time
BUF – No Timmy = no win for washington
NE – Brady is the Steeler Slayer, he hasnt lost to them since 2004
CIN – Who would’ve thought the Bungals would have the same number of losses as BAL and PIT after 7 weeks?
DAL – Here’s hoping Romo doesn’t throw this one away
SD – The only pick that has me nervous, KC looks much better after horrible start.
