As noted in the update that had Beanie Wells saying on the radio that he was planning on playing on Sunday, his practice time is important. After missing practice on Wednesday, he was upgraded on Thursday, practicing on a limited basis. In addition to Beanie, Early Doucet, Michael Adams and DeMarco Sampson were all upgraded with their injuries and were limited in practice.

Kerry Rhodes still is out and Joey Porter was out a second day in a row. No mention was made about a 'veteran's day off' and it was the second day in a row that he was out.

Tight ends Todd Heap and Jim Dray were also limited.

For the Ravens, safety Ed Reed sat out of practice with a neck stinger, but it is not believed to keep him out of the lineup on Sunday. RB Anthony Allen, WR Lee Evans and G Ben Grubbs were out. CB Danny Gorrer was limited.

In addition to Cardinals fans, Ravens fans are hoping for Heap to play, as he was a fan favorite there, having played in Baltimore for 10 years previous to this season.

The fact that Porter sat out again for the Cardinals seems to indicate to me that his days could be numbered. He has been healthy enough to play on Sundays without his knee injury being evident.

Today's practice will be key. If Beanie can up his contributions again, we might just be able to find him on the playing field.
