Cardinal Of The Week: Week Four
The Cardinals lost another game that they could have won last night, and this one was in the most frustrating fashion yet. This week, only two options will be in the poll because I am sure they will be the only ones getting votes anyway.
Last week, Calais Campbell won the poll with 75% of the 189 votes that were cast.
Beanie Wells - 27 carries, 138 yards, 3 TouchdownsYou would normally think that the Cardinals would get a win after a monster game like that from Beanie wouldn't you? Beanie easily had the best game of his young career last night against the Giants setting a career high in rushing yards and touchdowns in one game. This is why the Cardinals drafted him in 2009, hopefully he can stay healthy and keep it up.
Larry Fitzgerald - 8 catches (11 targets), 102 yards
Last week, Larry broke the receiving touchdowns record held by Roy Green, this week he broke the receiving yards record and he did it on an incredible leaping catch where he took the ball away from the defender on a 47 yard pass play. Kolb has been inconsistent this season, but his chemistry with Fitz seems to be improving and Fitz is primed to have another monster year like what he was doing in 2007 and 2008 with Kurt Warner throwing him the ball.
David Carter and Darnell Dockett were also considered for this, but I decided to just go with two people because I know which direction everyone will probably be going with in the poll this week.
| CotW Winners | Wins |
| A.J. Jefferson | 1 |
| Darnell Dockett | 1 |
| Patrick Peterson | 1 |
| Kevin Kolb | 1 |
| Beanie Wells | 1 |
| Calais Campbell | 1 |
| Richard Bartel | 1 |

Its gotta be Beanie
but the most telling thing to me is that he set a career high in carries with 27. Think about that. This is his 3rd year with the team and 27 carries is the most hes had here. This is my HUGE beef with Whisenhunt. Personally, I still believe Whiz is calling the plays. The first drive yesterday, you have 3rd and 3 and you pass? The 2nd and 1 on the last drive and you pass? How many times have we seen this team pass in short yardage situations? The honeymoon ended for me last year with how he handled the whole QB situation, and I believe Whisenhunts time in the desert should be over. This team has talent, we just need the right coach to make it all gel together. I personally would love to see Gruden in red and white

Honorable mention
Thanks to Feely showing up for a change.
New polls
A couple of polls I’d like to see taken of Cardinal fans.
What is the main problem with the Cardinals?
1) Offense
2) Defense
3) Coaching
4) Special Teams
5) Kicking
Whisenhunt:
1) We must be patient and give him time.
2) Replace him now.
I’m curious about how the Arizona fans feel. I know Whiz has a very loyal following and a few vocal desenters. What are the actual numbers?
I hope these questions are not over the top. I think they are legitimate but I’m an impatient old geezer.
Defense for giving up too many scores late in close games
Especially the last two weeks.
The offense late in games is also an issue with their inability to put games away and score in crucial situations.
As for Whiz, I still support him and I’m willing to be patient. I think we will see improvement as the year goes on.

You're a nice guy Joe.
I hope the Cardinals players feel exactly as you do. We’ll know very soon (like this coming Sunday). See, no patience.
Have to have patience with Whis.
Because the team extended both Whisenhunt’s and Graves’ contracts. They signed their chosen QB to a long contract and secured Fitzgerald as a Cardinal for the length of his career. Whisenhunt did manage to get the Cardinals to the superbowl. Mike Bidwill isn’t going to send these guys packing any time soon.
Dockett
Was a disruptive force and his play held the Giants backfield at bay he gave us a chance to win. Beanie rand for more yards and touchdowns both of the Giants dominant backs
