Kevin K. Tarkington

If Kolb is, by nature, a scrambling QB then the Offense must adjust. As soon as KK breaks out of the pocket the WRs, RBs and TEs should cut the called play and run to daylight. All the "good hands" people have to make themselves available and keep their eye on the QB, who must think quick and deliver on the move.

The Cards Offense seems to give up while the play is still alive. We are relagated to play the the personnel we have. Our QB scrambles, therefore everybody must be ready to scramble. It is not good or bad, just reality.

If we are unwilling to adjust to "Scramble Mode", it is time to change QBs. Bartel is more the traditional stand in the pocket kind of guy. I don't care who is taking the snaps as long as the coaching staff makes the adjustments. Fran Tarkington was fun to watch and the fans loved it. It was like the circus arrived with Tarkington and he'd steal a win while entertaining the crowd.

Bartel showed himself to be a capable, no frills QB, that brings his lunch box and goes to work.

It is time for Whisenhunt to adjust or make the switch. The season is in full swing and all the players have had an opportunity to show who they really are. We have yet to determine who the Whisenhunt Cardinals are. This game against Minnesota will explain a lot about Arizona and answer the question "Is this a serious NFL franchise or just some rich guy's hobby that is a joke around the league?"

Maybe I'm just an old fart who has been around too long and seen too much NFL and AFL Football. In my experience, a team that refuses to adjust falls by the wayside and becomes irrelevant. Teams willing to be bold and define themselves, make history.

Who are these Arizona Cardinals?
