Peyton Hillis in Cardinals Red
There has been lots of open speculation that Peyton Hillis will not be returning to the Cleveland Browns next year. Talks have been made that he'll land in Dallas, or maybe end up as the smash back in a tandem like Brandon Jacob's role is with the Giants. With the NFL's transition to less featured backs and more two headed monsters for rushing attacks I could see Hillis ending up in San Francisco, Seattle, Miami, Tennessee, or what I would prefer Arizona. I know the Cardinals have Beanie Wells, Ryan Williams, Chester Taylor, and THE LSH. But I have to admit I'm worried about Williams return next year. I know (hope) he's going to be great, but I don't know if he'll be able to bring his game at the same level of intensity because they say it takes a full year to return from the serious injury that he suffered. Because of that I'd like to see the Cardinals backfield be filled with a three headed monster of Wells, Hillis, Williams, and our Scat back kick returner LSH.
That way if one back goes down due to injury we do not see an immediate collapse in the production of the ground game. LSH and Taylor don't have the body type or playing style that Wells has, and if it takes time for Williams to return to form I would prefer that he does that slowly rather than being pushed into service. Bring in Hillis and have a stable of running backs who are punishing and be more prepared for consistency even during adversity.
Any thoughts on Hillis in Cardinal Red?

If we have a chance at Peyton Hillis
Then why not? But I doubt he’ll come here, and I’m not worried, because Beanie Wells broke through this season, and we still don’t know what Ryan Williams can do.
Joe Saunders: "They played a really good game, so hats off to us"
Why not- he wants too much $ and the position does not seem to be an area of need coompared to ot
I understand his position – rbs have a short life span in the NFL and this is likely his only big contract – you develop rb or sign older vets for the league min to split the load

I think Hillis
will prove to be a flash in the pan.
We all bleed Cardinal Red, but most of us don't recognize it!
"It takes no talent to give great effort"--Chris Petersen
Patrick Peterson is the 2nd coming of Deion Sanders. They even wear the same number.
It isn't even that for me
This team will not pay 3 running backs with that much talent the money they each deserve or think they deserve. This is a pipe dream really in my opinion. Even if the Cardinals don’t keep Beanie they have him for 2 years and then you can address things but a year from now you will know all you need to know about Beanie I think. He will probably want a large contract…..
I dont want Hillis for several reasons
1) His attitude stinks
2) He’ll want a ton of money
3) He was a one timer.
Browns organization said he skipped out on trick or treating with a disabled kid on Halloween.
He continuously gets sick or injured yet the FO is saying otherwise. Teammates from Denver said he was a terrible locker room presence.
I don't buy that
He wasn’t a huge contributor in Denver…so I doubt he was making that much of a fit.
I don’t buy any of that other stuff either… It seems like you’re just slandering him haha
Haha well I googled it
I guess his teammates do have some issues with him, but they are adamant that he wasn’t always like this. Maybe he’s just dealing with some personal issues or something

As much as i would love Hillis
It would likely cost far too much. We have bigger needs to fill and only limited cap room. I have faith that Wells, Williams and co will fill our RB need very well.

I am focused on this year
I’ll worry about the off season, in the off season.
