PrintIt is now the second half in the matchup between the Cardinals and the Eagles, and Philly is up 14-7.
Overall, the Defense has played well, but they gave up a late score with under a minute left in the half. The score also came right after an interception by Adrian Wilson was negated by a defensive holding call that many of us thought was a questionable call by the Refs. The other score by Philly came off of a Pick Six by Asante Samuel.
Right after throwing the Interception, John Skelton did lead a TD drive capped off by a pass to Larry Fitzgerald for his fourth score of the season. Jay Feely has also missed two field goal attempts that he would normally make. The ground game has also struggled for the second week in a row. Some of us think that Sherman being injured is hurting the ground game and hopefully he gets healthy soon.
As a reminder, game threads are more lax with the language, but we ought to note we are a community that does not attack other members.

Gah a few mistakes are really costing us
It is still a close game but those FGs and missed muff punt are going to bite us at some point.
Skelton has done a good job. His stats will always look messy, but he has a way of getting the scores when they are needed.

Eh he has done decent
We have benefited from some penalties and he is completely to blame for that pick 6…. Also missed a few open receivers
I know he's not perfect, but for his experience level he is playing well.
I don’t see that he’s really playing any worse than Kolb has been.

Don't get me wrong
I want to see a win. That is all I want as a fan. But for the long term outlook of this team, Kolb is a much better option at this point as far as consistancy and decison making are concerned.
He has been in this offense for 2 seasons now, can’t complete even half of his passes, and looks scared when there is legit pressure, Kolb needs time like every QB to get used to the offense/understand his players. You cannot be serious when comparing Skelton to Kolb, you are just making simple excuses for bigger problems with this team in doing so.
His arm is special.

It wasn't really much if you look at it. We paid him a lot and gave up a second round pick.
DRC really doesn’t matter anymore because Marshall and Peterson are doing very well, Jefferson looked impressive today, and Adams was a beast.
Perfect recap. I had to laugh that the only call of the game for holding on the offense came again Money Mike on the key drive of the game. The official must have said “Hey that little guy is getting manhandled!”
