Im fairly new to this site, but I have a friend whos a regular and he tells me how split this site is on the Kolb/Skelton controversy. And yes, we do officially have a controversy on our hands. I know Kolb has the fat contract, but to put it bluntly, Skelton is the better QB. We saw it today. I know, the offense did nothing for 3 qtrs, but in the fourth with Philly up, Skelton drove HIS team down the field for a touchdown. He is a winner. Im not calling Kolb a loser, but fans, we have our QB of the future. Plain and simple. Fitz had 2 touchdowns all year before this game, he had 2 (should have been 3) today. Skelton gets it, you throw the ball to Larry. Skelton puts the ball where only his recievers can get it. I saw it at least 3 times today. I am not a big Whiz guy, but I think its obvious his evaluation of QBs (Anderson, dropping Leinart) is poor. I believe Kolb will start next year and fail, leading the front office to release his contract. Its not like Bill is running this team anymore. Michael wants to win and that is refreshing as a long time Cardinal fan. The bottom line is that Skelton is a winner and the Cards need to let him continue in his learning of becoming a franchise QB.
