Rod Hood

I finally got an answer as to where he has been. I only knew his name from the 2 INT's he returned for TD's, the 5 picks he had in his first year as an Arizona Cardinal, and the blown coverage in the Superbowl that gave Santonio Holmes the game winning catch.

He currently resides in St. Louis as their 3rd or 4th CB. So when we revert to those 3-4 wide sets on Sunday we'll get to see him. I was never a tremendous fan but I liked him and the way he played. He brought something special to the team. His return skills were remarkable hence the 2 INT's for TD's. Unfortunately he was plagued by injuries and lost his starting spot to DRC at the end of the 2008 season and was cut to start the 09 season. He then went to the Titans and was poised for a good year with 6 tackles and 2 picks in his first 2 games but tore his ACL and was released. In 2010 he signed with both the Browns and Bears but failed to make either teams 53 man roster.

So my main reason for posting this would be to ask you this... Would you mind bringing in Rod Hood? The St. Louis secondary is getting healthier so it's only a matter of time before Hood is released. He's 30 but the expiration age on any DB is typically 32-33, and with our own DB issues it would be a good addition for us.

One last thing... What do you think of the Cardinals Nike Pro Combat uniforms... Good or Bad?
