PrintCardinals, thank you for finally giving me a game with a happy ending to compile the gamethread highlight post from. If we lost this game, I probably would have lost my sanity from seven weeks in a row of misery looking through all the rage comments.
So, lets look at some happy comments. Including the Kolb/Skelton debate, and the joy overload on Patrick Peterson's punt return.

Totally Skelton is all over the field,

Ive said it before and I'll say it again
All of these penalties ruin the game as a spectator sport. There should be more no calls.

Quick question
How would everyone here feel if the offense had the same exact production, but with a healthy Kolb playing. Just leave everything how it is, but replace Skelton’s name with Kolb’s.

I want to clear the air. I don’t dislike skelton. I think he’s a good guy and looked great on that drive.
The fact is, however, that a QB controversy only hurts our team at this point. We paid Kolb the big bucks and gave up a lot to get him. The coaches are not going to go away from him either. SO STOP WITH THE QB controversy stuff. If he is still bad at the end of next year, then we call it a failed experiment and move on.
Same thing happened with Leinart. We gave up a 1st round pick to get him and he never got a real chance to show what he can do. I feel in his case he lost the locker room though. Kolb has not done this yet.

Skeleton needs to get 2 straight wins in order to create a QB controversy
his performance today was inconsistent and not enough for him to win the job
He did some good things
Would have been nice to not have to win a game against a 1-6 team with a blocked FG and a 99 yard punt return but nonetheless we got the win and the only touchdown in the game. The two safeties being the obvious negatives in the game but outside of that I thought Skelton looked good.

Multiple Game Balls
1) John Skelton- 3-2 record and came threw in the clutch again.
2) PP- for his return
3) Campbell- For his blocked field goal
He came through in the clutch though
The safeties were unnecessary but when we needed a TD he got it.

nobody else to watch it with down here (chile)
so was fun at least knowing other cards fans were excited outta their minds while i was, huge win!! my girl just kept giving me strange looks as I lived the emotional rollercoaster that was the end of the 4th and overtime hahaaa, but feels good, GO CARDS!!!!
