Some of you guys have been wondering about the catches and yards Larry Fitzgerald gets with Kevin Kolb and John Skelton as the QBs. Now, thanks to one of the guys who left comments on Urban's blog, we have those numbers.
(Scroll down halfway through the comments to find this)
Fitz with Kolb in 8 games:
38 catches for 658 yards, 2 TD (17.3 YPC)
Fitz with Skelton in 5 games:
23 catches for 411 yards, 4 TD (17.9 YPC)
Fitz with Bartel in 4th quarter of 49ers game:
1 catch for 23 yards, 1 TD
Here, it looks like the catches and yards round out to about the same thing for each game. Fitz averages 4.75 catches per game with Kolb, and 4.6 with Skelton. He also averages 82.25 yards per game with Kolb and 82.2 yards with Skelton. The main difference is that Fitz is getting more TDs with Skelton, with Kolb it seems like he throws to Early Doucet in the redzone more and Beanie also gets more rushing TDs with Kolb.
Now, I don't really care who scores as long as someone does it but it would be nice to see Kolb throw more TDs to Fitz.
And for the people who were saying that Kolb never gets Fitz the ball, it looks to me like both of them get him the ball equally right here. Looks like you guys were over exaggerating things to me.
