Patrick Peterson/Kevin Kolb Injury Update

Thanks to Alex for the update. No need to add anything, so to the front page it goes...

Darren Urban from azcardinals.com says PP had an MRI today to check the severity of his achilles injury. As many of you will remember he seemed to have strained it after intercepting Bengals QB Andy Dalton only to have it taken away by a Roughing the Passer call on Adrian Wilson. 2 Promising signs that it isn't serious was 1) His run immediately after intercepting the ball and 2) Telling Whizenhunt it didn't hurt enough to keep him in. We'll find out by late tonight or early tomorrow just exactly how bad it is, but Coach Whizenhunt is optimistic that PP will be fine.

As for Kevin Kolb, he still has a few symptoms of the concussion. He still has days where little symptoms of the concussion come up, (I.E. wooziness, dizziness). "We've got to err on the side of caution" Whizenhunt told reporters today. Kolb didn't feel well Saturday against the Bengals and was sent to the Locker Room for a brief time. He feels okay the majority of the time, but Whizenhunt wants to be careful.

*Peterson Update* The MRI showed no tear in his achilles but there is inflammation. He'll be reevaluated on Wednesday to see if they want him to play Saturday.
