So two articles came out about Kolb this week, one on NFL.com and the other on azcardinals.com. One good (in my opinion) and the other not so much.
The article on NFL.com was a report that Kolb will return next season. I know many fans, (primarily INSOMAN1ATIC) will be disappointed with this news, but the rest of us relieved. On December 18th Jason La Canfora reported that the Cardinals could part ways with Kolb this offseason, in which Kolb would make the smallest impact on our cap. Next offseason he'd make a little more money so if he doesn't pan out by the end of next season, we can still get rid of him.
The other article on azcardinals.com, talks about how Kolb is still facing his concussion issues. He had a full psych exam yesterday which showed that he's "A little slow" in his reaction times.Kolb did practice today, but in very limited work. Cardinal Doctors told both Whizenhunt and Kevin, that 2 to 3 more weeks of rest Kolb will be fine. Unfortunately we do not have 2-3 more weeks of Cardinal football. As of now it's looking like Skelton will get another start this season, especially after a Skelton had a conference call with Seattle Reporters.
On a side note, Tackle Brandon Keith (Knee), Safety Kerry Rhodes (Ankle), and Patrick Peterson (Achilles) all sat out today. Whizenhunt said Rhodes should return by tomorrow. As for Peterson his chance to play Sunday is looking bleak, but if he does play... Our favorite announcer, Sam Rosen will be calling the game.
