Retraction about Trading 90....
So I am offering my full retraction about trading Darnell Dockett. It took one game but I was wrong he is not worth trading right now. Watching this Defense play reminds me of the great defense's of Steelers and Ravens, Now they may not be fully there yet but honestly the improvement in the last 4 weeks has me thinking super bowl caliber defense. I do think we still need a Tackle but to be honest I think we can win now. Tampa bay won with Trent Dilfer I know if this defense keeps improving the way they are we are going to be a force to be reckoned with. I was a Ray Horton believer from the begining but I knew we wouldn't see his full defense until next year the fact that we have it in and running this year is amazing with no OTA's.
On that note I believe that We Have the best 3 down linemen in the league (collectively), Up and coming Linebackers, and pretty good corner backs (young but learning) once we bring it all together we have a scary unit.
Do we need an Offensive lineman or two yes and we will get one (Unless a superstar at another position falls to us where ever we are at like last year). Lets be honest PP has been an average corner at best in his coverage this year but I will take average overall this year from a rookie corner as long as there is improvement which I feel there has been and we can say that 2 of the cardinals wins this year are directly related to his punt return ability's (Carolina, St Louis).
I know im all over the place here I just want to say I believe again even if we end the year 7-9 or 8-8. All Is not lost and we can finish strong. Just know I have seen the light. No trade for DD at this point i wouldn't even take a first round pick... Do You accept my apology???

Had to vote no just to give you a hard time
I think we need 4-5 more offensive lineman, not 1-2. Gotta have some backups for the inevitable injuries.

I think any Cardinal not named Wilson,
should be up for trade if the draft stock value is right…I’d still trade Dockett for two first rounders.

So you would trade away Fitzgerald and Peterson if you could?
Good thing you are not calling the shots, and I mean that in a nice way. You would be completely destroying any progress this team has made.
any player can be had for the right price
but i imagine that INSOMN1ATIC’s price on Fitz and PP, and mine as well, would be very high. A team would have to give up a buttload of picks and players to get either one of those guys from me

Which is why no one would pull the trigger.
And why would you want to reshuffle the team so drastically after seeing huge signs of improvement from the D and seeing that the offense is progressing as well?
Im not saying that i would be shopping these players
or any of the Cardinals core players. I was just pointing out that for the right price, any player could be had, but it will be far more than the player is worth.
WOuld i trade the likes of Fitz, Peterson, etc? No, unless you offer e a king’s ransom

If Fitz and Peterson, netted the right price,
then absolutely yes, it’s how all great teams stay great, by not keeping around aging superstars, and drafting more should be superstars.

But most do not fall under both the "old" and "superstar" categories, so why should you consider trading young players who have a lot of potential and are a known talent to get unknown talent in the draft?
I wouldn’t consider trading too many people. And everyone would trade a player for a king’s ransom, but no one will be willing to give up anything close to that.
My point isn't gettting through,
Let’s say the Cardinals shock everyone by selecting Quinton Coples, and by his 2nd year he is essentially another CC, If someone is willing to give you a “bounty” for Darnell Dockett, given that you have a player that could be considered of the same caliber you absolutely trade away someone like DD who is a superstar entering his twilight, however you first have to be stacked at any certain position to entertain the idea of it all.

I agreed no trade for Dopckett, this defense starting to step up.
Some of that is player cohesion and bonding, which at times is better than elite players. For the draft lets get several offensive lineman, draft free agents whatever its takes. Dockett plays a big part into the swagger this team needs.
Im glad dallas sucks is beating im an idiot
I was hoping that Dallas sucks would be the winner so I am surprised when i come in and people forgive me… and Dallas sucks is second… Now beat the niners I hope or defense destroys Smith and Gore.
