Save next season

I read in the comments of the "Carson Palmer selling his house" post that some of you would like to start a petition to save next season. Actually, one has already been started. I don't know how much it will affect either side, but this is it. I got blasted on the Eagles site for posting this (despite my skepticism), but it's better than doing nothing so I'm not sure why the outrage. I do think that the Sports fans coalition (the group sponsoring the petition) is doing something good in trying to unify the fans and give them a voice. They are generally very anti-owners though. Honestly I am more leaning that way, but I feel that both sides have lost all perspective. Anyway, go ahead and sign it if you want, tell your friends, whatever. It's something to do other than just watch this circus unfold and pull your hair out.

I just opened the other post with a petition. I applaud the initiative, as I probably would say “That’s a good idea”, then just check out a mock draft or something. Anyway, this “coalition” has been around for a year, appearred on ESPN and the New York Times as well as a few other places and has a pretty good foundation, so it might carry more weight in the end. But if this post gets erased for redundancy or slammed (why not, that would probably be a better use of time than actually putting forth the effort) then so be it.

I really just want the CBA to get worked out so the Eagles can sell Kolb at this phenomenal time to have an extra possible francise QB when there are so few other available options out there. Aside from Jamarcus Russell of course.

Unfortunatly as Cards fans were use to getting the shit end of the stick.

I don't care if you vote or not

I didn’t like that people took thier shots. It would have been nice to entertain some discussion about the topic, or if the jokes were actually funny (I love some good sarcasm), but as it stands I really just come out of it with a low opinion of the posters here. As an extention this site, Cards fans in general are painted a certain picture in my mind now. I do get around to different blogs a good bit (after all, how much can I read about the Eagles), but I would place this one just above the Steelers blog in likelyhood that I would be willing to engage in any serious discussion here.
