NFL Network interview with Fitz at the Super Bowl
Larry is in Dallas right now, and he talks with Deion Sanders about the 2010 Season and the Super Bowl. Fitz also said that he wasn't involved with the Leinart decision, and he was disappointed because he thought Leinart was a good guy who was working hard getting ready for the season.
A special guest also shows up to throw a pass to Fitz at the end.

I was reading an article by Darren Urban
In it, he said that only 55% (Or something like that) of all the passes thrown to Fitz last season were catchable. I’m positive Matt Leinart would’ve been better than that.
Anyways, I always like watching Fitz interviews. Thanks for posting this.
I saw that too
I bolded that section in the links thing I posted today.
I still think Leinart would have been better than DA. I was talking about how I was expecting something like 3,000 or 3,500 yards from Leinart this year with a completion percentage in the low 60’s and around 23 Touchdowns with 12 Interceptions, and that looks like Warner’s 2008 season compared to the crap we got this year.

I remember
When Kurt Warner retired a year ago, I didn’t panick, because I thought that Matt Leinart would be a great replacement. I remember reading an article on Yahoo! Sports about how Matt Leinart would do perfectly fine as the starting QB.
I know he’s gone and I should try to forget about him, but watching clips from the season, I’m just getting angrier and angrier.
You guys are going to get me started again....lol
Trying to put the season behind me and turn the page…Whiz and FO blew it for whatever reasons. We easliy win division with Leinart back there….but hopefully Whiz learned he’s not all that and we move on….
Same..
Until he choked in the Redskins game..After seeing Skelton the last 4 games, Ithink if he would have started the whole season he would have had similar numbers to what you predicted for Leinart. and maybe we get those 3 wins from those close games((1st)SEA, TB, MIN). But we would never know. But next season, I would like to have Skelton and Palmer as my #1 or 2 QB
Sorry for all the comments
But I just saw this part of the video.
Kurt Warner showing up made my day. Fitz’s too.
I loved Larry's commet to Kurt:
“I just want you to come back to work”. Amen Larry, me too!

Dont know if we would have made the Superbowl but NFC championship game was in our grasp
if Kurt had not retired. I dont begrudge him the decision but damn our FO and coach did a lousy job carrying the team forward.

One more chance, Whiz...
After finally hearing it from Larry’s mouth, he confirmed what all of us fans were thinking; the Cards were better off with Matt Leinart behind center than ANY of the other QBs on their 2010 roster. And the players were behind him and he didn’t “lose” his locker room. 2010 was a complete waste and it’s all because Coach Whiz wanted a “Yes Man” more than the best chance to win. Plug Matt into 2010 and the Cards probably win 10-12 games. And “NO”, that’s not an exaggeration. Another flop in 2011 for Coach Whiz and it’s time to get fired. Trust me, better coaches have been fired for less by Bill Bidwell!
Where did Larry did say that the Cards were "better off" and that the whole team was behind him?
I watched the clip twice and that question about Matt 3 times and didn’t hear anything close to that. And what evidence do you have to support your claim that coach Whiz demoted Leinart because he wanted a “yes man”? And 10-12 wins with Matt this season is laughable and delusional.
Like almost everyone in the Cards organization, Whiz definitely deserved criticism for some of his decisions and handling of certain things this past season. But I really can’t believe some fellow fans blind criticism of Whiz whenever mentioning Matt considering the fact that Matt doesn’t hold a candle to Whiz’s accomplishments with this team when compared to his.

To me, it just seemed like Fitz was disapointed that Matt didn't get a shot in the regular season, but that was it.

Who else couldn't stop smiling from the moment KW popped up till the end?
My damn cheek bones hurt. I really miss the Warner to Fitz days.
