Peyton Hillis wins Madden 12 Cover Vote

Thirteen million people voted over this entire tournament, Hillis beat Michael Vick in the final round, receiving 65% of the vote.

What do you think of this choice? I like it, although I bet EA is pretty mad that Aaron Rodgers didn't win.

I heard that a bunch of Packers fans

Organized groups to work for Peyton Hillis so that Aaron Rodgers wouldn’t get the “Madden Curse” or whatever.

Anyways, good choice for the cover.

I agree fans scared of “the curse” likely voted opposite what they really wanted, but either way I’m happy an underdog like Hillis won it. Who knows when the Browns will ever get someone on the cover again.. plus I like the way he plays football, I liked watching him (especially since I had him on my fantasy football team)

I hope they continue to do the cover vote each year.. it is fun and builds interest in the game.

Can’t wait to buy Madden 12.. right now I only have Madden 08. Though it is very funny to see Leinart as the starter and Warner only ranked I think it is 67 overall. Oh how wrong they turned out to be.

Apparently the response to the cover voting

Far exceeded the expectations of Madden. Hopefully the game is good.

I have Madden 09 and Madden 10. I love seeing Fitz on the cover, and knowing that if there is a Madden curse, Fitz dodged it, and Troy Polamalu took it instead.
